I am not angry at Pakhi, but at Virat today

I did not like Virat in today's episode. He thinks the domestic assault Sai had to face was because his family is traditional? Seriously? He is gonna defend his family and their criminal offense? And he wants Sai to make compromises for his family? How much more compromise does she have to make? Okay, for a second, I will accept that they are traditional, BUT what about Pakhi???????? THE MALTREATMENT THAT HAPPENED IN FRONT OF YOU WAS DONE BY PAKHI, THE ONE YOU SAID IS MATURE. Why does she have to face such verbal abuse from pakhi? Pakhi is your problem and you should be the one to take all the heat from her, not Sai!!! She said countless times that she didn't wanna get married to you cuz your family will take the anger out on her and that is exactly what is happening. And you have been calling her immature?

Why is everyone taking Sai for granted? Her father saved their goddamn chaheta beta, but they have no sympathy for her loss? Moreover, Virat wants Sai to take his family as a challenge rather than him speaking out against his family's aggression? He is a police officer and he just told an oppressed girl to essentially stay quiet and deal with it. I am sorry but Virat had failed me in today's episode.

His own mother is still not accepted in the family despite her 28 years of marriage and he expects them to accept Sai? His logic for her not moving to a hostel is also not solid. Yes, she might have to struggle, but that struggle would be much less compared to what she has to go through now. At least she will not have a mob around her all the time to crush her self-respect. Also, people who study medicine does not have the time or luxury to waste time taunting other people. They already have a lot in their hands to worry about. The logic of today's episode was 👎

Count me in too with the disappointment...There is a fine, sorry big line of being traditional, conservative vs. domestic verbal abuse..mental torture is more hurting than physical. For, brought up like a princess by her dad and Virat who has first hand witnessed it, who has taken up that role in her life, this is definitely not something that I will accept. Yes, there is some zimmedari towards your family, but illtreating her is definitely is not one...My mood is bad after today's episode..

I kind of agree, that I didn't like Virat with his suggestion of Sai doing her responsibility and handling his family. But thank god, all of this was said alone and not in front of his whole clan.

I'm thinking, this will lead to some kind of changed behaviour from Sai, after which it will hard to go against her for the elder clan. And if they did, Virat will be the one who opposes and stands up with Sai. at leat I'm hoping ki aisa ho!

lol this is what happens when you copy-paste everything as it is from the original. The characters are different here. Virat isn't Rono, who can say "oh my family is traditional & conservative, so try to adjust".

Seems like writers are only adding new SaiRat romantic scenes bcoz original didn't have many. Other than that, they copying KD scene by scene.

I also agree. I also really felt let down but i guess maybe we are to assume that Virat didnt know how bad they made her feel coz he wasnt there for the verbal assault she tolerated before getting hurt. But despite that i feel that what we got to see in terms of his concern for Sai seemed like a formality. Kaash his reaction had a little bit more understanding for everything this girl is going through! This is definitely NOT what she would have expected out of a deal waali shaadi. Ofc any family would be upset if the family's son just showed up on the door married to a random girl. But This all out, all guns blazing, non stop war that they've waged against her is extreme. And it cannot be brushed away as a "conservative mindset". Conservative is different from Regressive, inhumane. I think Virat just doesn't see it yet. Kaash usko realization hojaye ki jinke dil saaf ho unke actions or words itne bhi kadve nahi hote jitna uski family ki hai. Sai has a sharp tongue too but shes never been the one to kick people when down. And shes loud but never inhumane and downright ev and she is definitely not manipulative. She simply states facts and truth. And I'm glad she's got a sharp tongue because this family deserves someone showing them their aukaat and cutting their egos down.

I am so happy that this is a collective rage! Virat was a major disappointment in today's episode and I am not sure how he is going to redeem himself.

I am wondering if the DIG had suddenly popped into their house for a visit today would Virat still have claimed his family as "Traditional" and expected his superior officer to accept that reasoning?

I know a uniform doesn't guarantee good behaviour in reality but shouldn't there be a certain responsible manner of portraying officers and a family of officers in Show telecast on a major GEC channel which must obviously have a section of impressionable audience?

Totally agree. The message Virat was sending is learn to deal with it. We can assume he doesn’t know the full torture she underwent but he should be able to figure out that if they treat her so badly in front of him what happens behind his back.

Totally disappointed with Virat today. I don’t expect him to rage but I really wanted him to use a better argument than my family is dil ke bure nahin hai!

I am disappointed with today’s episode, that’s my initial reaction. Let’s see if that changes after knowing people’s perception in this forum . I was expecting more from Virat but I think Virat never realized the extent to which Sai was taunted. When he first arrived at GC he has used the same tactic he suggested today to win Sai’s trust .He kept his cool despite Sai’s accusations because he believed in Gandhi Giri approach . It worked for him because Sai is different from his family . Sai should do what she feels is right . She is mature enough to handle people .

After hearing about yesterday’s episode, I was like okay tomorrow Virat will be good and will speak up w rage .. but seems like it was too pheeka compared to how Sai was treated so I will be skipping ..
