Agree with you. Running away with Moksh was out of Malhar's character. It looks like that was a set up. The police also didn't shoot Malhar though they had the chance to.

And yes, this racket seems to have some connection to Kalyani's job too. Him trying to destroy her career was also out of his character.

Both these incidents seem connected to this jewellery racket.

Deshmukhs being rich is due to Swara's money. They explained that one. What was not explained was how Ranes got so rich, but I don't think that will be some big mastery surrounding that. I feel that'll be answered with a simple explanation.

Think back to what CVS spent a lot of time on post KalMa marriage when all of this started. During the hate track, all of Malhar's punishments were sabotaging Kalyani's job. Either he was stopping her for attending some meeting or he was making her look bad in front of the Minister. And even that SR wala night, I feel he was majboor to take photos of her but he couldn't manage to do it no matter the consequence. I feel even that was maybe to humiliate Kalyani.

But what all of us found so odd is when Kalyani herself resigned, Malhar was super angry. That entire hate track was surrounding Kalyani's job.

I agree, Gayu. Or else why was her job such a big plot point? Cause Kalyani being DM, it didn't add much to the story, and now her not being the DM, what is it adding to the story? So I feel like her the DM job plot point was related to this Vittal gang and the Minister.

pata nay sasu, i still feel ki 'dark side' was only to recreate season 1 and it didn't work so they stopped it for the same reasons i mentioned before. I don't think they will connect all this to dark side thing.

i still somehow feel ki woh running away with moksh planned nay tha.

1. By the way that goon was addressing Vittal "mera Vittal"...I felt it was more a thing than a person. Then the mention of jewelry in the plot made me think on the lines of a conflict diamond or diamond racketeering...

2. 100% agree with you on this one di...pakka minister-kallu's job-vittal are related

3. What if Avni has found out about that brothel ?? Everyone there know him as Shera right...so could be that or even DP could be used to see of he is Malhar...dogs can identify ppl through their scent
