Well I still find it very unrealistic that Imlie will continue to stay at Tripathi house .

Before Adoon marriage it was a separate matter. All the marriage preparations were torture for her heart but not for her self respect.

Now her husband is married once again and will be living in the same house with his newly married wife , being all lovey dovey with her. How can Imlie stay there after that ?? And why would she do that ??

It would've been a separate matter if she didn't consider him as her husband. Then I'd have said Tripathi house is the best place for her at least before she passes college. Let's face it no body there treats her like a maid except Adi and they just love and adore her. She can stay there and continue her studies and work simultaneously as long as she needs safely and cozily. I couldn't imagine a more jovial and warm family environment for her.

But what about Aditya , since she does consider him as her husband ?? Plus she's aware that Aditya threw her out of his life and his house like yesterday's trash on the day of his marriage, without giving a damn about what will happen to her after that.

Ok , she's doing it partially for Mithi so that she won't have to bear regular taunts from NN but after she meets Satyakam she will know that her mother is safe from that too. NN won't dare cross lines with Mithi because she's afraid of Satyakam.

So why not just convince Satyakam about the whole thing and not to go after Aditya and go back to the village with him ?? In the 1st episode it self it was shown she's very good at convincing even strangers to see her point of view through impactful logic and power of speech. So she can't do it with Satyakam??

In that case , her character will become one with out self respect. Then I don't know how much I can support or be fan of such a character.

As is said in the tagline of Parineeta, a woman can sacrifice everything for love but not her self respect.

Also , in that case it'll be first of such a FL for any Gul Show , I mean most Gul heroes are jerks in the beginning and trash treat the heroine but it all balances out because the heroines always give them back and keep it in line.

Be it Annika , Khushi , Zoya , they all stood tall and unbending in front of the heroes right from the beginning and they never took any insult just like that , let alone continue to live in a situation like this . This is how those couples built such a huge fanbase because we can connect with these girls and in turn root for them.

At this point, since the marriage won't be stopped , at least don't show any paper thin contrivance to make Imlie stay back at the Tripathi house so that your story can progress, makers . 🙏 Don't ruin the basis of her character right from the beginning. Give us a reason to root for her. Just because she's a dukhi soul won't fetch her or your show any fandom. She needs to have some kind of integrity , so that we emotionally invest in her. Or else , what'll be the special thing about her that makes her a cut above , say, Malini ?? Even she is not a bad person, well not yet. Just very weak. If your female protagonist is weak too ,fir kya farak rahe jayegi dono mein .
