I live in the west and some people from India's neighboring on purpose use these sort of movies to show the westerners how bad India is and humiliate Indians.

I am not against solving problems of India, of course they should be solved, but showing things in movies will hardly change ground realities.

This just appears insecure. If your only worry is "log kya kehenge" and lets conceal the truth and just brush all things wrong in our country under the rug just coz of appearance, that's the wrong approach.

Neend tooti to

Raah woh jispe main chal raha tha

Uski koyi bhi manzil nahi hai

Bold - Are you saying people from India’s neighboring countries (like Bhutan for eg) are screening these pics for their western neighbors and friends and they sit and watch it? This lockdown is making people so strange things!

Westerners don’t have to learn about things happening in India from BW movies, most westerners, Americans in particular don’t give two hoots about Indian movies...

They can do it online...

Western media like BBC publish any news that show India in bad light in graphic detail and with relish.

Recently the nytimes blamed Indian caste system for Pakistan’s discrimination against Christians

Nirbhaya incident was so well publicized in the western media and around that time every other day there was news about some western tourist being brutally raped in India esp the capital city (you would think Gov would be embarrassed and do something to increase the safety in the streets but no)

And it made bid splash here, sites like Yahoo.com which is so pro China, anti India (during early days of pandemic when India was unaffected, they were publishing articels like how China is pandemic free and India would soon become the hub, why hasn’t India become the epicenter yet, but it’s only a matter of time they were saying) prominently displays negative news about India almost every day

Dont know about anti India but Hindu phobic movies are being made for sure. Any movie that does not glorify Mughals are being panned. Look at how URI movie is panned by so called LIBERAL bollywood ...but kashmiri propogandist movie like 'RAAZI' is not.

Anupama chopra talks about inclusivity while reviewing 'Tanhaji' but she goes into shell when asked to apply the same for outsiders. What is her problem... we made so many movies glorifying Mughals ...what is so wrong in making mmovies on Hindu kings...beats me.

who is financing these movies ...umm ...let me ask one thing. In SANJU movie all hindu gundas are shown ...but the actual 93 Blasts preperator Dawoods name is missing...why ?

And, any country with strong military generally makes patriortic movies...no one does it like USA...India does not even glorify its militay so much.

Guess what ! u need a bit of jingoistic movies ... how else will you convince young kids to go to die protecting borders ? The chopras and kapoors wont do it.

I am the seventh person.

I hope one makes a movie how farmers are getting treated by the Govt and how govt only cares for Ambanis and Adanis

P.S. these TRUE topics are anti India ? 😆 I think soon these makers will also be called Terrorists .

Too much democracy

Agree! Movies should be real.

There is hardly much left in India to love this country.

There is still much to love, things like foods, cultures, landscapes, destinations etc..

But I agree, that religious hatred, caste system hatred, politics etc... all is turning it upside down. Not sure how India will get out of this.
