Sorry its misworded....meant that even if they're all negative, probably still isn't a good idea to meet because the incubation period for the virus can be up to 1-2 weeks + there could be false negatives.

Unless they all got the rapid test right before arriving or they all quarantined for 14 days before this party (and we all know from pictures on social media that they didn’t) then they took a risk. Also the rapid test isn’t as accurate as the long term test so there’s that.

Covid spreads very quickly. Back in the day there were these diagrams about AIDS awareness and it basically explained that it can spread like a spider web. One adage was when you sleep with someone you are sleeping with everyone they’ve slept with. Same concept but more serious because now it’s as simple as just being close to someone. Did all the Bhatts, Sutarias, Arman’s in laws etc get tested? Did everyone that each one of these extended family members have been in contact with has gotten tested? And so on and so forth. All it takes is for one positive person to have come in contact with any one person from the household or staff of anyone in that large group picture and this Christmas lunch has the potential of being a super spreader. I hope not because Kareena is pregnant and they have several elders in there. Here in the U.S. we are witnessing the post Thanksgiving surge because people didn’t stay home and wanted to be with their families. In January we’ll see the surge from Christmas because people again are traveling. There’s a reason experts are screaming at everyone to please stay within your own household.

Thats fine. Yeah I understand and they willingly take such risks when they know this lunch is a big get together. But at the end of the day its their problem, if any one of them gets its and its bad then they will have to deal with it.
