Thirdly uploading 1-2 min clip wouldnt stop people if they want to watch the episode on TV.I have till now not seen anyone uploading full episodes before the telecast on insta or twitter.

Fourthly if you see the views on twitter or insta , you can see it is only in thousands which is max and I fail to understand how this effect the TRP audience which I suppose in milions.

Lastly , today due to the dance the FD got excited and started posting clips, it doesnt happen daily I assure you.

so I dont think we need to really get worried about TRP cause trust me it wont get effected one bit.

I completely agree with you. I do not understand this sudden cry about TRP getting impacted due to whatever online audience does.

Let me requote one of the most famous romance producer GK on JHJK going off air. She was asked your show seems to be so famous online, why is it going off air. Her answer to that was "Online Audience doesn't matter. Ultimately what matters is TRP audience. So no matter how popular show is online, it'll go off air if there is not trp." If online viewership had any impact whatsoever on trp, none it the shows which were very popular with online audience will go off air.

All shows that has online viewership, has similar kind of online frenzy. YHM was prime example. It ran for 6 freaking years and before you ask how do I know, I was the part of that frenzy for few years so not saying it for the sake of it, saying it from experience.

One more thing, RuSha rain sequence spoilers were out even before episode aired. Everyone went nuts that day and posted all types of caps and videos n gfs. Did it impact TRP?? Why rain confession, that entire bloody week, entire online FD was on fire. What happened though?? We got one if the highest TRPs for that week.

Lastly TRP audience gives s**t about what's going online. I've HS subscription, I beg my mom everyday to watch show with me in the morning (I started watching YHC largely cause she used to watch), but she refuses to watch it me. And even if she does, she'd go back and watch it on TV at night again. Why?? Cause that's her me time. She's busy whole day, only time she gets time is at night. And she needs her show to unwind. Hence the denial. Even if she by chance watches it with me on HS, she'd rewatch at night. I'm sure this is not the case with just my household.

So this sudden hue and cry about people uploading small clips affecting TRP out of no where is something being my understanding. First of all it'll have zero impact on trp and secondly how does 1 or two mins of scene equates to 20mins of episodes?? If anything if that two min of clip is interesting and someone has come across it (which I doubt a genuine trp audience would) , they'd be tempted to watch entire episode rather than skip it.

This is the most deprived FD and when once in a while we get good episodes we try to make ourselves happy by making edits,posting clips of what we like so that whatever small chunk of fans are there,we can share our happiness with all of them.

Once again completely agree with you. If I'm not wrong when Abrar requested it was before show was not doing good on trp and peeps were apprently posting clips of whole episode before it was telecast. I don't see that happening.

Plus even if there were accounts with 50k followers how is that going to have any impact on trp that comes in millions.

Secondly I don't understand the logic of anything being done online impacting trp. If anything it'll serve as promotions for the show as it'll make people curious to watch it. I see so many new online viewers all thanks to FD doing promotions.

Also like you rightly mentioned if there was going to be any impact on trp why the eff is HS uploading shows at 6in the morning? All the clips, edits, gifs everything being posted has actors, ph, ekta tagged in it. Are vo sab chodo, sid himself posts stories of insta users whole day, way before episode is telecast, Saru had posted episode clips too I remember she quoted. So when actors don't mind and don't see it as impacting trp, why do other think it is. Lol isn't that funny. 😆

If online TRP mattered,YRHPK wouldn’t have gone offline ,shaheer has got such massive online followers that we can only imagine.

If it would have really effected that much and TRP would have gotten, I am sure Star plus wouldn’t be sitting quite. I mean wouldn’t that be stupid of them to continue uploading episodes knowing how it is impacting TRP.

This no way means we are in favor of uploading the whole episode,the most we see as you have said is max 2 mins, I am not sure how that is stopping peeps to not watch the 20 mins episode.

If someone wants to watch it on telly and enjoys it ,they absolutely will.

I have got to find a show which wasn’t closed because it was having online high TRP.

Well damn I didn’t mean to be rude. Apologies if it came off that way. You can do whatever you want. After all it’s your account. A group of us fans on IG saw people posting so we decided to reach out to stop since we were in that group in which Abrar asked us to report/talk to any pages that were posting before telecast. I just followed those instructions.

As far as posting full episodes before telecast goes. There are lots on IG. I’ll definitely start posting all those pages on here if you would like me to. There’s always someone who posts on Twitter to report those pages because they are posting full 20 mins episodes before telecast. Also, regarding Hot Star taking action they have! One page got taken down last month called tellydrama something. They could have taken down more accounts as well without me knowing because I don’t follow along with every single page that’s posting. Another couple accounts have been made since then but since there are SO many accounts and more people supporting those accounts rather than us fans reporting it that it’s hard for Hotstar to even get notified of what’s happening.

@blue- Pics are totally fine! It’s the full clips of the rusha scenes we get that’s kind of not.

@red- Who said dont share the happiness? By all means do it. I know JUST how deprived we are. 😆 It’s just a plea to share that happiness after telecast.

See the thing is we know posting after telecast won’t do any harm and we aren’t sure if posting before will. So why not just play safe and post after??

Did anyone feel today's episode was visually very colourful & stunning.

I mean they do always have great sets & backgrounds but today they really went overboard.

All RuSha scenes were very colour coordinated & the sets created a stunning effect. Esp. the dream sequence.

Also, the Srinivasan house has some really pretty, artsy props/backgrounds
