I think Markaat is deffo freed by this point. Either Bani releases her in exchange for Veer's life, or someone else frees her (though who can bypass Shivji's Trishul other than her, or maybe Veer?, IDK)...but I don't think yeh Markaat se ladai hai. If Ballu wants Markaat on his side, they wouldn't have her patko-ing the cheels so Bani can save them so soon into the game.

Jeera se yaad aaya, Sub-Inspector Jay Mathur ka new look toh bada changa hai, par ab koi usse kuch kaam bhi dedeta toh accha tha. I hope this is the start of his new out-and-out villainy, warna pata chala it was nothing more than Jay wanting to get his haircut after months in lockdown 🤣
