After today's interaction at PP's house, I must say I feel Virat has got the point loud and clear. He could see PP's zidd and he also gauged how she just wanted to hear that Sai was the one responsible for her leaving the house. The 'tumhari biwi' jibe in the end is a clear indicator that she's not going to let go of her bitterness anytime soon and Virat turning around to see her for a moment before driving away was a moment of acknowledging the truth.
What took the cake for me was - "Sai se har baat mein apni tulna karna bandh karo... Tum jaisi samajhdaar aur matured ladki ko ye Shobha Nahi deta "
this after he said "Tumhari Galti thi" about last night in front of her parents. đ thank you! For not compromising your wife's honour in front of that horrible family.
I think this scene was enough to say that Virat has actually decided to move on. He does have 'leftover' feelings (Keshni, can't thank you enough for this)
He also has guilt but it is no longer the guilt of abandoning her as much as the guilt of being helpless about the situation where she is concerned.
Her "mujhe is rishtay se kya Mila?" And "Main na uss Ghar me wapas aaungi na hi Tumhari Zindagi me?" was tacky but "mujhe laga tha Mera tum par haqq hai" was such a self revealing one -- in the context of the night sequence where she wanted to know why he is walking towards his bedroom with his wife after telling her about some "zaroori" kaam.
I feel it's clear to Virat now that PP doesn't have anything to do with Samrat. I could see that pain in his eyes today with those gentle nods.
Chavan saheb, I want to trust your skill this time and believe that you gauged how they had all ganged up against Sai, who is actually 'innocent'. Thank you for excusing yourself from that despicable conversation when they tried to turn Sai in.
And THANK YOU again for protecting your wife's honour by reminding this obsessed family that their daughter was WRONG about the incident that she wants to call a trigger for leaving the house. Thank you for not offering any explanations.
A police officer, who cannot protect his wife's honour is not worthy of the khaki. You did a good job.
Tumche khup khup aabhar đ manapurvak!
