I was talking about the Fort parallel, that was quite extraordinary yet suited extremely well!
They're doing an amazing job ofcourse <3
But usually the depth of analysis that I see on IF is on another level
THAT - makes me feel, do the writers have such in depth analysis of their characters 😆
Forgot to say thank you to the other post 🤗
A conversation can continue only when there is an exchange otherwise it is a monologue. So all the open minded exchange here is so refreshing. Aaj kal toh logon se baat Karne Lago toh kaatne ko aate Hain. So this forum is such a refreshing place. And of course all the jokes we share just hurt the jaw in the end.😆

First things first, I absolutely love these mythological anecdotes😳
Sunny, the cupid, disappointed me big times today.😔
Coming to Sai. I saw another side of her today. Her silence is as umcomfortable as her words are. So, yes to this Sai who did not feel the need to justify herself. Yes to this Sai who choose to answer those who do not value her words with Silence. It was such a powerful scene in my opinion, she was being attacked left, right and centre and she held her ground strongly. I cannot stress how much I loved her being misunderstood by the others. Crazy, I know. But, there is something about being misunderstood, it gives you a vantage point. You stand there and watch the others speculate what you could have done (funny how Omi pointed out that she went to complain against the family) and you're thinking, damn, these people don't know a thing about me, about my capabilities.
Totally get you. I found it SO classy. I wish Virat had witnessed how she almost played the way he has been asking her to even when she was almost alone in the midst of those chakrams
Plus, She did not need to flaunt herself as a saviour, she respected thoroughly, her sense of justice is on point, her sense of loyalty was in the right place, the saving of others was inevitable.
The mask is slipping more regularly for Pakhi. She tried so much to cover her insecurities, her envy under the guise of sympathy, but the moment she name-called Sai, she labelled Sai, she gave herself away. Indeed she was very clever, for she has not only assumed that Sai is her competitor, but she pitted Sai as being against Virat's wellwishers (with herself as the leader, of course) through the lines "hum tumhe nahi chodengey".
Oh yeah that's why I had my heart racing for Virat to stop speaking before PP opened her mouth. Thank heavens she interrupted him and gave the biggest proof of her maturity 🤣
Very true that she has figured out Sai's weakness - her tone and the fact that she get incensed pretty quickly.
Even today, she was trying to instigate Sai when Sai decided to go back to UM's room to let the 2 friends talk. Then, she went berserk and tried instigating her. Still, Sai was rather composed and her words were well chosen in a way which has impacted Pakhi in a way her previous words did not.
That, coupled with Virat telling her to go to sleep and the fact that he considered a conversation with Sai as more "zaruri" will prompt her to use her next trump card - Her exit. She has also somehow realised that Sai is not as weak as she thought she was, and I predict that she will be even more fixated on Sai because Sai is a threat to that shiny mask she wears. Hence, she is in a state of panic. Her exit is a very carefully decided move, for it has many functions; it punishes Sai for being a threat to her mask and for being the cause of a potential public humiliation, to establish that she is "zaruri" as well, to address the loss of Virat's admiration and finally since she is in a state of panic-to compose herself.
What Sai needs to figure out is that, if she has her weaknesses, Pakhi has them too. The very visible one is - being cornered.
Maine to kal ki episode ki analysis bhi kar li🤪
Kal to analysis se jyada karogi na??😆

Awwwww🤗
Me too! I usually see a lot of discord between members these days on IF with little value-of-discussion but this place is warm and different. Loving the forum and loving coming to talk and read here.
Touchwood, thuthuthuthu, nazar na lage!😳
Wow!! love your post
Virat observed how everyone was treating Sai and how Sai didn't react to them at all.
I understand he didnt want to say anything to Kaku and gang. But how can he not say anything to Sunny and PP, his supposed two best friends who knew about his problem and still ganged up on her. I also was like damn Virat missed Pakhi saying shit to his mom the other episode as well now with Sai.
But she didn't disappoint and saved the best taunt for last. (What she meant was you needed a wife like me who will banto dard with you)
Friends ko nahi bol saktha tha don't treat my wife like this or why are you being like to Sai without knowing about her. They should show him have a conversation atleast with Sunny who really is his best friend. PP toh bff hai only for namesake coz they don't know what to name their relationship.
I felt really bad seeing she just has Ashwini and the Bua on her side. Rest of the family is against her. But fir bhi Sai un pe bhari pad gayi. From now on Virat is tie-breaker or basically the person who will decide who won the round and most fights are going to end with his judgement .
Hoping uski army bhi bane, atleast some people from kaku's side start moving to her side soon.
If this was a battle, she just slayed everyone single handedly. No one had anything to say to her, not even Sorry or Thank you.
Is it ever emotionally draining or do you develop a certain disconnect ? Just curious. My profession involves a different kind of counselling, which I sometimes find very draining.
I am not a full time counsellor but as part of the judicial proceedings or even ethically, it is duty to offer counselling. I don't feel drained because I hear or involve myself only as a third person, extremely aware that I am supposed to hear and offer my perspective if needed. Once you know your own thoughts, you don't actually get attached or detached. But yes, since any separation involves a lot of emotions, I do get to witness a lot of it. Won't lie that I do take thoughts back home sometimes... Some very terrible cases of harassment have stayed and they did affect me at that point but we find closure when the case ends and justice is served. But I have a personal guitarist and counsellor at home. So, all load is offloaded almost instantly😳
I am sure you deal with life and death kind of counselling or on the lines of that ... It must be difficult.
Beautiful post and amazing discussion everyone!! 👏
Janki, posts like these are the reason I take the trouble to watch shows with poor writing/ execution. Because it bring out the analyst in many people, giving a wide range of perspectives, making the makers' uni dimensional characters into multi dimensional, giving them depth, widening the horizon with different thought process.
Very happy to read such post 😊 hopefully will try to participate in analysis myself.

Thanks for the insight into your profession. family practice lawyer, I guess.
well yes, kind of. Just like you said, I'm not trained to be full time counsellor but need to do it as part of the job ethics. It is difficult because in my field there is so much that is still unknown or uncertain to even so-called 'experts'. A lot of it is based on assumptions and risk calculations.... I find conveying probabilities and epistemic uncertainty extremely difficult as it is. On top of it comes dealing with several other layers such as sensitive medical information that could potentially be discriminatory , family dynamics, socioeconomics, language, cultural etc...

TMK I am guessing is Too much Kaku... I am not sure someone can help both of us 😀
All the while i thought TMK to be, "The Masta Kaku.." 🤣🤣🤣
Jokes apart,i loved ur analysis and ur mytho references,Janki di.
Appreciate you sharing your experiences and background. Not having preconceived notion and putting the bias aside is very important factor. Cases of harassment and domestic violence are so sensitive and needs to be handled with utmost care.
