Chapter 6

Ridhima is done with her dinner and sat at the balcony while watching the sea. She doesn't know what she is feeling right now, full of mixed emotions, "Sometimes I wonder if I understand love at all. The thing transforms us but into what? Love turned me into something else back then. My hope now is that this new life can transform me into something better.”

She doesn't know what life is going to bring to her. There are so many things going to her mind. "What kind of woman I might turn out here?" So many hard feelings. She wants to cry, however, she doesn't have tears to cry. She has not left with anything, right now. Whatever seems to belong to her, in reality, nothing is hers. She smiles sadly.

"That’s life, you know. We never end up where you thought you wanted to be,” says Tarzan who came to pick the plates

Ridhima turns back and sees Tarzan with a smile on his face. He understands her questioning eyes, so he assures her by saying "You didn't lock the door"

Ridhima sighs and says, "Sorry, I forgot"

"Don't be sorry for the things, you didn't do" replies Tarzan

"However, it happened because of me being of those mistakes," says Ridhima

Tarzan takes the seat next to her and locks his eyes at her and says, "Make mistakes, learn from them and when life hurts you, because it will, remember the hurt. The hurt is good. It means you’re out of that cave."

"You mean, it helps to come out of the comfort zone?" asks Ridhima

"Hmn, sort off" replies Tarzan

Ridhima looks at him and asks, "Since how many years you're working for the Man?"

Tarzan smiles and says, "Bingo! I know you wanted to know about all of us right? However stopped yourself, right?"

Ridhima smiles meekly and says, "Yes"

"Hey, hey, it's fine. Everyone wants to know about others. It's nature dear. You cannot go against the nature of humanity?" says Tarzan

Ridhima looks at with peculiar expressions and Tarzan chuckles and says, "Yeah, I know, Mafia and Humanity. I understand. But, Ridhima, We didn’t choose this life, we’re just living in it."

"What kind of a life it is if you cannot decide?" asks Ridhima

"Now, now, that's where you are wrong. I mean, I didn't choose this kind of life. I mean with this face, mind, skills and all. However, the Mafia is my decision. Ridhima, we can only make decisions for the moment, rest, whatever happens, it is due to Life. That's not something you cannot control. If you can understand this small line difference, then I feel you can live here easily" says Tarzan

Ridhima doesn't know whether to continue her question or not, but go ahead and question him, "How could you live with the blood on your hands?"

Tarzan smiles at her and says, "Life is total war, my friend... nobody has a right to be a conscientious objector" saying Tarzan leaves the room while leaving Ridhima all alone in her thoughts.

VR Mansion:-

After a long time, VR Mansion is ready for the Mafia meeting. Vansh never does meetings in the home. Yet, this time he doesn't want any outsider to enter and spoil the meeting. So, he is doing in the home itself. I can see how Angre and Ishani are managing things. Rudr and Aryan helping Vansh while Anupriya and Kabir are standing at a corner and not to mess with anything. I don't know why none of them able to remind that poor soul who left the house. Maybe I would be the only person in this house, who would remember I feel. "I don't know where are you Ridhima, but I only wish for happiness and all. I only wish that you live your life on your terms rather being a weapon and pawn for someone."

While Dadi is in her thoughts, Vansh calls her and introduces her to some more Mafia people. She never wanted to be in this Mafia party, but, considering she cannot help much, she is indulging herself. While she sat at one side of the table.

England Leader: Hi, this meeting is happening today because we all have got the invitations from the Stewmaker to be part of his cruise. Though he didn't announce any dates, we should be ready for it.

Japan Leader: Anyone has an idea, why the Alchemist is doing this right now? After twenty years?

North America Leader: My question is, who has seen him? Like ever?

None from the table has said anything, while an old man is sitting at the last chair of the table stands up and says, "He was a little boy when I saw him" says Singapore leader

"When it was," asks America Leader

Singapore Leader: Twenty years before

"Are you saying we are dealing with a young man?" says angrily Chinese leader

Singapore Leader: Yes, we are. He might be mostly 30 years old. I never saw his face even then. However, his father said once, he is going to sit on the Mafia throne in a week. Then, don't know what happened, here we are with the young man.

Vansh: How can you be confident that we are dealing with a young man, not his father?

Singapore Leader: Because the Man has killed his father at the age of 10. That's how he sat on the throne. Any more questions?

Now that's when everything went silent. They all heard how cruel this Man is. They also killed their parents sometimes and friends. That's how Mafia works. If they are afraid of this man who is 30 years old, then so much is left which they don't know.

Vansh: As we don't know a lot about this King, we need to be very careful. For the first time, we all have got the invitation from him and that speaks a lot. We are not sure, whether we would be seeing him or would only meet his representatives. But, considering he said to visit with family and all, let's be ready as none of the say No to the Emperor.

Russia Leader: You're right, VR. We have to be ready for everything. However, we need to be careful too. If he is planning any war then, what?

Srilanka Leader: Why do you think, he would start a war?

Russia Leader: I didn't say he would, but if he wanted...

Even before he completes the sentence, he gets blasted into pieces. Now, this is something no one has experienced before. Everyone has run from their chairs and sat at the corners. Vansh has immediately closed the gates of the mansion and ensured safety while whole his family is surrounded by the Mafia leaders with their teams

"What you guys are trying to do?" says Vansh angrily

"Don't act smart, Vansh. You have planned this right? We should never come here" says Thailand leader

"Enough, why I would do this and in my house. Do use common sense. We are Mafia leaders, not some gangsters" says Vansh

In meantime, the television set which is in the room gets on and Sher comes on the television. All are shocked to see Sher on the television as they know, he is the representative of the Man.

Sher: I'm happy to see the whole syndicate here. Good. However, sad to know you people think The King is going to plan some war. Now don't think too much about how we know. Remember, he is the King. The Monarch of the Mafia. So, this is the fatal and final warning, don't plan anything. The invitation is left for you people. Come or don't come. We are not forcing anyone.

Sher video gets done but they all can see his smirk. That means, there is no other option. They should attend. Every leader is worried now after happened. They have heard stories from other leaders but seeing something like this petrified them, the one who runs the Mafia itself.

Singapore Leader: I heard from his father saying this boy is cruel than anyone. He is merciless. He only how to kill and get blood on his hands. He doesn't care for anyone or anything in the world. No one had seen his weakness. So better we go and see what he has to say. However, we should also know right, how he looks

South Korea Leader: Do you think he will show us his face?

Greece Leader: Let's see what stored for us.

At Morning:-

Ridhima has got up at 5 PM itself to get herself ready. She is anxious and nervous to know what kind of training she would receive from them. She never had fought with anyone. Yes, she has hit Vansh with her small punches, but she knows, he always went low with her. She remembered the day he came as a Joker and used the peppery spray on her eyes. If he wanted, he can knock her out in seconds, yet played a subtle game. She smiles remembering him yet, he is no more with her. It's time she starts forgetting about him and only focuses on her.

She checks herself once again and starts walking towards the room which Tarzan told her yesterday night. But what she didn't guess is, the devil Aliza is already present on the pad waiting for her. Ridhima didn't saw Aliza in that way. She is scared to take a step forwards her.

Aliza had sensed her fear since the moment she stepped into the room. She has been ordered by the Lord to hurt her, however, she unable to bring the same on the table. She has never hurt a pure soul and this girl is full of it. However, considering it an order from the Lord, she jumps from the pad and comes forward to lock her eyes with Ridhima.

Aliza looks at the timid Ridhima and says, "It's not brave if you're not scared.”

Ridhima locks her eyes with Aliza and enters the ring with her. Aliza continues, "I can see you and say you might have never done a workout. You have no muscle in your body and you need to develop it."

"Remember Ridhima, you are not here to get muscle and make a body. You are here to train yourself. Let me give you a heads-up that, If you don't train like it's real, you're dead when it is" says Aliza

"What do you mean," asks Ridhima

"Your training would be as if you are going for a real fight. So be a ready baby doll" says Aliza.

Aliza had told her few warm-up exercises and told her to be in defence mode. She said Ridhima to hold up herself why she kicks her. She wants to see to what extent she can hold up. Though Ridhima got scared when Aliza said she would be kicking her, yet, she is here to train herself harder and she is ready to give a go for it.

The moment Aliza had kicked her in the stomach Ridhima had fallen. The Man in the room is watching all this along with Sher. Sher can say, Ridhima has no training in fighting like this. However, he knows King has ordered Aliza to train her like that. He is watching King expressions and they are completely motionless.

Aliza can see she had kicked her hard, but it is important if she needs to be trained in one month. Aliza bends down to Ridhima level and says, "Get up, Ridhima. Don't fall like this. You cannot even handle one kick from me. I can understand that is why Kabir and Vansh had used you. Such a lame person you are."

Ridhima can handle anything but not someone saying anything to her character, she gets up and tries to punch Aliza, yet Aliza pulls her back and twists her hand and says, "You need to learn Ridhima. Attacking is something even a small baby does. Adults like us need to know defence motion."

"Look at me Ridhima, while I'm kicking you. Observe my legs and my actions" she shouts and kicks her again while Ridhima falls. This time blood comes from her nose.

Ridhima is unable to stand and says, "I can't Aliza"

Aliza feels sorry for her and tries to step forward but gets reminded of Lord words. So she says, "You're just like the rest of them! You think you're different, but you're not, because you're just, you're just really scared! You're scared to give a new go because you think, you know, the others are better than you are! Well, you're just pathetic, and you're gutless. You're a gutless wonder!”

Ridhima wants to cry yet she has no tears to shed. She wants to shout but her voice is not coming out. She looks at Aliza in a pleading manner to stop while Aliza tries to make her stand, Ridhima collapses.

Sher who saw this tries to run from the room, but King stops him. Sher says, "King, she is hurt"

King: Leave her all alone

Sher: She needs medication

King: Sher, I said leave her all alone

Sher nods his head and calls Aliza to say leave Ridhima all alone on the ring and don't call for any medication.

Ridhima gained consciousness but she had no idea how long she is in the ring. Her whole body is paining like hell. She sees outside the glasses feels it is not noon yet. However, she is unable to get up. She is trying to get up and but due to the stomach pain, she unable to walk. She is in unbearable pain yet cannot say anything. She is unable to shed tears. So she does what she has. She starts laughing uncontrollably.

All the four are watching her actions. They know why she is laughing because she wants to cry for the pain she is into yet unable to shed tears. The truth is, in the Mafia world, they always experienced bad people and who ready to manipulate for everything. Here, this girl possesses purity and positivity that it is hurting them too. They have lost the emotions in them long ago. However, she is rising them again.

The Man is watching everything while he got a smile on his face. "Yes, Riddhu. You're doing well. Until now, you want to cry but today you accepted the fate that you cannot cry, so you are laughing. Good job, Riddhu. Very soon, you will learn change into something you never thought of"

VR Mansion:-

Yesterday's event is still being played before everyone's eyes. The most petrified person is Kabir. He has never heard of this Man and today after seeing what he can do, he knows he should be careful on the cruise when he steps on to it.

Rudr: I never thought the Lord would be a young man

Aryan: I'm impressed

Ishani looks at him which "What's wrong with you" expression and says, "He is dangerous"

"He is," says Vansh

Everyone looks at him while he descending from upstairs. He takes the high chair and says, "He has proven that his power exists"

Rudr: What do you mean?

Vansh: Chachu, he never escalated a battle unless an enemy forces on him. Always he kept his identity a secret, no one knows who is he. But today, suddenly Singapore leader said he is a 30 years old man. He has shown his power, even when there is no war. So he is trying to show that he exists. He is not a rumour. So much more.

"Do you feel him as a threat, Bhai?" asks Aryan

Vansh: (Smirks) He is the danger I'm going to meet soon.

I am ready since it's a mafia story I am not going to bring my moral stick here but just enjoy the ride 🙂 eagerly waiting for more who will play him any of the other guys we discussed also if possible can you put a character sketch in a post. Only if not to much Rai Singhania family ka toh pata hai just for the new characters 😊
