I'm with Kashi on this one. I was also here for the romance, but that seems to be lost. YHC was really good parts of S1 and S2 until MU track started. Since then, show's gone downhill with only spurts of good writing. I can't watch something just b/c the actors are decent - especially in today's world where we literally have soooo many shows and movies to choose from. With so many choices, my choice will never be typical ITV drama. It's way too aggravating and not entertaining enough.

Ru's character development this year was the best I've seen in a romantic show. I really liked Pree's character and was waiting to see how her side would unfold. But nope. We didn't get that. And now, after all this abuse her character has faced, if next week, she doesnt stick up for herself in some way - I can't do this! She better not chalk up Ru's craziness to love with no consequences, I'll literally be done if that happens

I can't even imagine what I'll feel if she resumes life with him as if nothing ever happened! My kids watch this show with me sometimes - neither of them understand Hindi but they get the general gist and ask what's up all the time. How do you explain to your young son and daughter any of this is okay!? It's not! And this is coming from a mom who let her son watch John Wick when he was 5! That violence is allowed in my house. THIS one without consequences is not!

@bold - this! Along with RuSha's love story, Pree as a character has gone down the drain too. I can't believe this was the same woman who told Ru how dare he judge her after he forcefully took her to the bar in s1. Even in the MU track, Pree didn't stand up for herself until much much later and then forgave Ru in a heartbeat. It's like all abusive behavior gets justified/understood in the name of love, which is bullsh*t. And FLs are put on a pedestal for their mahanta when all they are doing is just tolerating continued abuse. I personally hated Ru's confession because of this - his words to her were my anger was my love only, no wonder that same behavior gets repeated now. Just this time, the anger is supposedly for the love of Saransh. And Pree is also back to her doormat behavior. If she doesn't stand up for herself by the end of this, I will probably say my byes to YHC too.

Regarding Mahima's track, it's not very surprising that they turned her negative/fake. It's the go-to ITV strategy when TRPs fall and then they will turn this into a very dramatic good vs evil thing. The general TRP audience loves that stuff! 😆

At that time, it was still somewhat palatable because, like he said at the time, he had also stood up for Pree multiple times against everyone but fell prey to MU this one time because of all evidence finally being against her. At the time it was still somewhat palatable because Ru's main issue that time was not that she sold him out to someone but that she loved another. And it still looked believable somewhat due to the way Ru was so miserable without Pree during MU.

Here, unfortunately, can't really feel anything. The genuine-ness is gone.

As for FL & doormats...what to say. Pree will now apologize to Ru for flinging a fake M on Saaransh

Also,If M is anjali,then what was the need to show her as real M fighting for S.So the whole track is becoming baseless and drag.

Best part of the episode was Ru thinking raising a child alone....wah wah

Pree has no remorse kya? The way she was insulted left and right by that mentally challenged hulk.She still want a place in his life.What rubbish was that?

How fragile is Ru and Pree's relationship? So easy to break in huh.

I hope now P will put forth for custody papers for S to fight against M.Can Khuranas go for another custody battle?BK was keeping cool in all this was a treat.

It's so disappointing to see the makers turn Ru into this typical ITV ML and annoying to see Pree tolerating abuse in the name of being understanding. This glorification of mahanta and lack of consequences needs to stop. Worst of all, they show this as love and conveniently ignore all the toxic behaviors. I know we shouldn't be looking for social messages in ITV dramas, but then again, if they are just going to show the same old stuff, then I might as well take them up on that 'dekhna hai toh dekho'. 😆

Absolutely,seconded.S1 and S2 was so much potential of two young people falling in love.The conrast was shown so with time and with better execution.The love story was the sole essence of the show.Even,with the added drama with the plot was focused on Ru and Pree in good way would have been less torturous to watch.Let's be real such baseless plots with even with good caliber actors can't take much credits from audience.After all, if it's not likeable to me I have always the option to switch.Hope the show will get back to the love story.They have so much to explore.

I have seen this, generally all EK/Gul heroines have so much spunk before they fall in love. But once they do that especially after marriage, they are turned into some utopian characters who forget all their self-respect, whose needs and desires come second to the ML, and let's not even talk about their professions.

For a change, I would love to see an FL with an anger problem, who throws around abusive behavior, breaks glasses to threaten the ML, and then have the ML forgive them in the name of love. I think they showed Maya (in Beyhadh) this way but she was a blackish grey character. So, does that mean all this time the ITV MLs were blackish grey and we just had our blinders on?

Soooo much to explore! Lol like if an angst track is coming up, maybe we could get a damn FB of what happened on their first night!? Lol still not over that!

Apparently, she's still being strong, you know, taking all this behavior and holding the family together. And then she'll be strong some more when she realizes her akka jaap mistake, apologizes to Ru, and stays in K house for the sake of Saransh. And of course, Devi Maiyya will show her the way. 😆

Here's a thought - so I'm hoping Mahima is actually M1.

Some feel that she was pregnant in the picture Pree stumbled upon.

How messed would it be that she was a gold digger going out with Rajeev and the crazy lost dude and she was impregnated by crazy lost dude vs Rajeev!? The blood match thing with Ru could easily be a fluke.

I know this is unlikely but what an amazing twist that would be. All this for naught from the K clan. That would literally be awesome. Like so awesome.
