The problem I think stems from previous generation. Chacha and Chachi's negative attitude also stems from the fact that they are cornered...n this is what Aryan has inherited.
It is possible, Dadi preferred Vansh's father over Rudra like he does with Vansh.
I think dadi's favorism towards vansh is also because of his tragic past. She sympathises him and appreciates how despite these emotional issues he is still strong and is taking care of the family selflessly.
I agree with you about dadi not saying anything/scolding for trying to marry forcibly. But she did gave chances to everyone or we can say she was lenient with everyone. Riddhu during painting burning fiasco, welcomed Kabir home, was OK with RidhBir wedding, ignored ishani's nastiness MOST of the times.....

But keeping aside their capabilities for a while, when two of your grandsons are playing a match and you cheer for only one...it is unfair. When you have two grandsons but you prefer only one to do auspicious things like aarti, dahan, sthapna, then it is unfair. Everyone should be given a chance. That was my point.

I've always been loved by everyone from paternal as well as material sideπ and everyone were like dekh iski tarah banne ki koshish kar to my siblings/cousins but I always used to make them understand that every individual is different and you can't expect them to be same.In real life I myself have faced discrimination from my paternal family. I'm 1st grandchild of my paternal family from my grandparents sons side. But I always have seen my dadi loves grandchildren from her daughters side. Ya i felt bad sometimes but never took seriously this matter ...ab toh koi feelings e nahi hotai ye sab k liye.π

Nobody is blaming Vansh. It is not Vansh's fault that Dadi loves him more or his cousin is a brat.
In such situations, it is the elders who create the mess. They need to be a little more diplomatic in their expression. And yes, Aryan is at fault too.

There's a show on star plus which my nani watches where leads are treated with utmost partiality and all of their mistakes/blunders are ignored. Itni chod hoti thi woh show dekhte time. Amrita ki tarah hi feel hota tha k why don't they treat everyone the same wayπ
