MSP is still there , it hasn't been removed.

Secondly only 6-15% farmers get it and out of which 85% are based in Punjab, that's why it's a punjab farmer agitation and other 28 States care.

MsP was started when we didn't have enough food, but now we are surplus country, unfortunately due to msp now govt. Has to buy the wheat, rice even though half of it is wasted outside on the road, since we have no consumer of it.

Food corporation of india debt has increased from 90k crore to 3 lakh crores now, and if nothing is changed it would go to 7-8 lakh crores in next 5 years, and increasing.

Hm I guess there are positives and negatives to the new laws, but these people protesting do deserve to be heard this time, they would only get out on the street and protest if they fear a genuine threat

Being heard is different thing, than we would do bharat band and we would close delhi connection with other states unless the bills are completely taken back , that's just threats.

MSP is to safeguard the income of small farmers. It's not just Punjabis protesting.. it's UP, Haryana, Rajasthan as well. People think it's Punjab because our artists are popular and openly supporting it.

The government in its arrogance and hubris is responsible for the stalemate.

Firstly rushing through such an important change without any discussion with the key stakeholders- the farmers.

Then completely ignoring the protests and then finally greeting the peaceful, buzurg protestors with violence, using danda, tear gas and water cannons to prevent them from their very legal right to come to Delhi.
