I guess the problem is the audience he is targeting has already seen and loved the original. At least the ones who are making the remakenof South or Hollywood films target the audience who is not exposed to that particular cinema. Remake of Bollywood movies is pointless unless it's a period drama where better costumes and vfx can result in better cinematic experience.

The vocals are the only good thing about the song.Varun is overacting ki dukaan and Sara has no grace whatsover.
