they gave us open book but the questions were challenging (unthought of questions) and we had to write in detail

I'm taking my basic biomedical courses right now so they are mostly testing us on concepts to see how well know them because that's what they will have on our board exams. So basically they are prepping us for boards already. We don't really do any writing.
