Maharashtrian women are given two mangalsutras during the wedding. One is the long one without any hooks or openings and has two watis-- one is filled with kumkum and one with haldi at the time of the nuptials. The watis signify the union of the couple.

It has to be just worn around the neck like a garland and it doesn't have any openings because it's supposed to be a continuous circle without any breaks. This mangalsutra is not worn everyday but on occasions and during Shringaar. The daily mangalsutra is the smaller one which just a bit longer than a choker and usually very minimalistic single black chain and a wati in the centre.

So Sai will wear the smaller one everyday, if she wears one that is ☺️

May her sarees NOT be traditional navvari then.

Saree is also okay, bas age apt ho yaar 😆

I hope she doesn't wear sarees... wearing a sari for a long time is really uncomfortable... I always like when I get rid of this thing....Its really irritating to wear for 8 hours for work for me... but serial heroins wear that even in bed... I mean it's ok for a wedding night but daily basis....Hope they provide different outfit for Sai for day, night, and Uni...

Thanks for this! It's very informative. That means the CVs have done some homework :)

Yes yes, given a choice, I really think kurti and jeans is the best combination for her. Please read my first reply. I just answered when the TM said they might still dress her in sarees, and I said let it be atleast age apt then :)

Yes, we're all super frustrated with our Vaada Boy and uske faltu ka natak but I just want to take a minute to appreciate our Virat in full chivalrous gentleman- ACP Virat Chavan mode These are minor things but really the only good thing about Virat in the past few episodes. The way he opened the door for Sai, protected her at the speedbreaker and again opened the door for her when they reached Chavan House, somehow it was all really sweet. Even Sai's "thank you" was killer ❤️ Maybe I'm reading too much into but I think it would've calmed down Sai a bit. Just a small indication that Sai doesn't have to do it alone.

And Neil Bhatt 🤗, kitna handsome lag raha hai aaj!!

Me too loved how Virat opened the door for Sai❤️

It was really sweetI was dreading he may do it for Pakhi too but he didn't, Pakhi apne aap utar gai gaadi se😆

I also liked how he asked Usha mausi to come along so that Sai doesn't feel lonely❤️

Not to forget that she was STARING at him when he did that.

Pakhi: Haa haa aur pyaar dikhao

But they were too busy to notice 🤣😆
