It was a huge hit abroad but not in india...too much subtext for our junta

But I still feel Reema Kagti should continue making movies and not compromise.

I don't think Talaash did ever enter the "100 crore club"...and you know what...it doesn't matter. It's one of the best (but unfortunately one of the most underrated) Hindi films of the last decade to me. Such a layered, original film with some exquisite performances by Rani, Nawaz, Sheeba Chaddha. And Kareena. Watch it if you haven't; it's available on Netflix.

100 crore isn't much from the perspective of today's era. Films like these are mostly released in multiplexes and they have astronomically high ticket prices.
