In movies also i don't like those friends teasing stuffs it was quite okayish in old movies but nowadays everything has changed the mentality the thought is no longer the same it was unnecessary two people are coming together forced by others and these girls were pathetic...They did not notice Sai was unhappy.

That is what I am saying... one okayish side is that they didn't make the ML all righteous...rather put many flaws in him, I guess that is more humanizing and realistic than what we see in ITV. Like at this point I don't even know if I can hate Pakhi... why does he feel like he needs to explain to her the circumstances of this marriage. Make her hate you at least so that she can move on with her husband maybe. It's like he wants to be Mr. goody-two-shoes. Aswini needs to use the analogy lesson not only on Pakhi, but also on Virat cuz you can't clap with one hand...he is the one who is playing mind games with both the girls.

The only logical point I can come up with is that the writers are trying to point out the social injustice of how it is always the girl's fault in this matter and the guys get overlooked. It is always the girls who get the blame and the scrutiny from society and the guys just idly watch it from a distance. Since she is the daughter-in-law, she is expected to have the boundaries, but honey, Virat needs to know his boundaries too. The only way to somewhat justify this would be by having Aswini confront Virat the same way she confronts Pakhi.

Ashwini really talks but sometimes acts foolish thus giving the opportunity to others to take over and decide only talking will not solve anything. Why is she so scared of her hubby no answer.
