Chapter 26

The lights were switched on & all were shocked looking at the sight, except Siya. Riddhima was shot near her heart & blood was coming out, Kabir was holding the gun.

V:RIDDHIMA

Vansh rushed towards her & she fell in his arms, she looks at him & smiles, she was breathing heavily. Kabir was too shocked to react, before he can say or do anything Mishra entered the mansion with commissioner & other constables & stood near them. Riddhima looks towards Vansh & blinks her eyes indicating all this is a plan, he was amused but still found something fishy.

V(whisper):Riddhima

R(whisper):Ssshh... it's fake nothing to worry.. just act like Kabir shot me

Commissioner:Mrs. Rai Singhania who shot you?

Riddhima points her finger towards Kabir, Siya came forward giving the footage against Kabir & Anupriya. Kabir then realizes what is happening & throws the gun away.

K:I didn't shot her.. I didn't

Commissioner:Arrest Kabir & Anupriya Rai Singhania

K:But I didn't shot her now.. I swear..

A lady constable puts handcuffs on Anupriya & Mishra on Kabir, Kabir looks at Riddhima who smiles & winks at him. Kabir was shocked as he realized it's all fake, before he can can say or do anything the police started to take him away, Riddhima feeling satisfied closes her eyes. After they left, Vansh still holding Riddhima looks at Siya with anger.

V:What the hell is this Siya? Care to explain

S:Bhai it's all our plan.. she only told me that she will fake getting shot & puts the blame on Kabir.. as it is fake I dont think so it's nothing to worry..

An:Are you & bhabhi were mad? You guys are doing all this since a long time you should have atleast informed me..

I:Or me..

S:Yes after that you guys will tell bhai & he will shout at bhabhi without reason & then all our planning will be flopped..

Angre & Ishani made a face, Vansh looks towards Riddhima who had her eyes closed still now.

V:Riddhima enough of your acting now get up..

S:Yes bhabhi they left..

V:Riddhima

But Riddhima was not at all responding, Rudra looks at the golden gun which was lying near his feet & he picked it up, he brings the gun's nozzle near his nose & smelled & was horrified, he quickly checked remaining bullets inside, all were real.

R:Angre call the doctor immediately.. Riddhima actually shot herself, I can smell the gun powder & checked the bullets all are real

Vansh looks at Riddhima shocked & patted her face.

V:Riddhima.. Riddhima

Then he remembers how she was talking about disappearing.

Flashback

V:Will you stay with me always?

Riddhima looks at him for a moment then smiles.

R:Till my last breath

Riddhima looks at Vansh & smiles.

R:Don't worry Mr. Rai Singhania your gift is waiting in the cupboard.. so you will get it after I disappeared..

R:Khoon ke badle khoon.. aur goli ke badle goli.. ek goli tumne mujhpar chalayi thi.. phir aaj ek aur goli chalegi.. aur phir tumhara khel khatam..

V:RIDDHIMA

Riddhima was in operation theater, Vansh was standing like a statue infront of it. Siya was standing at a corner & was crying silently & Aryan was trying to console her. Dadi was sitting on a chair crying & Ishani was trying to console her, Angre looked at all of them with a sad expression. All of a sudden Dadi got up from her seat & went towards Siya & slapped her tightly, all turned towards them & was shocked.

Da:This is all because of you Siya.. when you knew the truth you should have informed Vansh.. he would have also took part in your plan then Riddhima would never pulled this stunt.. yes we would not have believed her but we would have believed you.. that girl already suffered alot due to Kabir & now again she is on the verge of death..

S: I swear Dadi she made me believe that its has fake bullets in it.. if I knew I would have informed bhai immediately..

Vansh sighs & came towards them & hugs Siya tightly, she cries.

V:Its not anyone's fault... and nothing will happen to her.. dont worry..

Just then the doctor comes out of operation theater, all rushed towards him.

V:Doctor Riddhima..

D:Mr. Rai Singhania we saved her.. but..

V:But what?

D:As the bullet was shot very close to heart it not only injured internal organs but also she had lots of internal bleeding due to which she slipped into coma..

All were shocked hearing this, Vansh stumbles back but Angre holds him.

A:Boss

Da:When she will come back in her senses?

D:We have no idea.. it can take days, months even years.. I am sorry

Vansh controls himself.

V:Can I meet her?

D:Yes sure.. we are shifting her to ward after that you can see her.. if you want we can arrange her to shift to your house

V:That will be great..

The doctor left from there, Vansh turned towards Dadi & holds her hand.

V:You guys go back.. me & Angre will come back with Riddhima..

Da:But Vansh..

V:Dont worry Dadi you go.. Angre leave them till car & then come to complete the formalities

Angre nodded & all left unwillingly, Vansh turned towards the ward & went inside, he saw Riddhima lying down on bed with lots of wires connected to her & a oxygen mask on her face. He went near her & sat on a tool beside her bed, he looked at her face & took her hand in his hand, he was controlling himself not to cry.

V:Why Riddhima? Why? Why did you do this?

Next Day

Riddhima was shifted in her bedroom & Vansh was sitting beside her holding her hand & looking at her continuously. Just then Siya entered with an envelope in her hand & went towards Vansh.

S:Bhai..

Vansh keeps Riddhima's hand away & looks towards Siya, she handed him the envelope.

S:Bhabhi gave me this to give you..

V:When?

S:Woh..

Flashback

Riddhima comes in Siya's room & handed her a envelope, Siya looks at her confused.

R:Give this letter to Vansh after I left..

Siya was shocked.

S:Bhabhi where are you going?

R:Nothing Siya.. I need a break from all this.. I will be away for few days.. for peace of mind.. my whereabouts is written in this.. if I don't come in few days Vansh can know where I am.. but neither you or he will open it till I left.. okay?

S:Okay bhabhi

Vansh takes the envelope for her opens it & started reading it loud.

Letter

Vansh,

If you are reading this letter that means either I am dead or on the dead bed, yes I lied to Siya about fake bullets but eighth vow need to be fulfilled isn't? Sach toh yehi hai na maine tumhe dhoka dena chaha aur kuch hadh tak diya bhi hai uski sazaa toh milni toh chahiye mujhe.. agar mein margayi toh mein samaj jayungi tumne mujhe maaf nehi kiya aur tumhara bhasoda todh diya.. aur agar bach gayi toh samaj jayungi ki tumne mujhe maaf kardiya.. mere saath humara rishta bhi bach jayega.. and dont forget to open your gift, it's in the cupboard..

Vansh closes the letter & sighs deeply, Siya was crying silently. He looks at Riddhima once & went towards the cupboard & finds a wrapped box. He takes it out & opens it, there was a picture and a note. He looks at it & was hell shocked, a lone tear escaped his eyes.

V(whispers):This is not fair of you Riddhima.. you can't give me happiness & sadness at the same time..
