Chapter 12
Sometimes the questions are complicated
and the answers are simple.
Ridhima walks away from Vansh leaving him in a state of frustration while he follows her and they both reach Ragini's room. While seeing them together Ragini smiles at them and looks away. Seeing Ragini sad, Vansh is the first person to approach her and cajole her leaving Ridhima behind which was noticed by Dadi as well. Ragini smiled at Ridhima and asks her how does she feel about the first love. Though the questions are out of nowhere, yet she wants to answer them. So she says,
"Falling in love, at first sight, is easy. It's like getting hit by lightning. You can't fail to notice it. But figuring out feelings that you don't know you had... Well, that's a different story. You don't know if you got the right person or not and it's so confusing as hell. You hesitate and then you lose the timing. You're left in a state where you can't do anything."
Vansh, Ragini, Dadi, and Sejal who were behind Dadi heard every word she said. It's not something she said like that. Those words are from the bottom of her heart. One can say something has happened to her. While Vansh knows she is talking about Kabir and saying those words due to the break-up which Angre updated a few days ago. Another side, Dadi feels Ridhima is speaking about Vansh and her grandson is still with Ragini even after hearing her complaints from the heart.
She turns her back and sees Sejal standing behind her. Dadi passes a sweet smile and Sejal comments,
"It's time for Ridhima to step back, isn't it Dadi?"
Dadi looks confused at Sejal while she continues,
"I mean look at her, she answered what Ragini is intending to listen. Don't you think now she should step back from the room? As someone is already with Ragini to look after."
Dadi passes a week smile and tries to leave the place but Sejal continues,
"I must say Dadi, you have raised excellent grand-kids. Like, look at them everyone cares for each other. They care even for the past betrayers too. I have never seen a family who has such a heart to forgive someone who has hurt them. Indeed, Vansh is a great man. I'm glad I met such a man who has the heart to forgive his past love and look even his wife is taking care of his past love. I mean even if she might or might not be feeling bad about it she is there and Vansh must be really such a good husband that even after it feels like he is ignoring Ridhima for Ragini; Riddhima is supporting him and he is absolutely ok with all of it. Had anyone else been in his place would have become conscious and wouldn't have wanted any trouble with his wife for an ex who betrayed him. He would have been more concerned about his wife and wouldn't have been able to be so caring towards his ex being such a loving husband just the way Vansh is."
By the time Dadi turns back and looks at Sejal, she stood beside Ridhima and takes her away from the room leaving Vansh and Ragini alone. Dadi can see the pain in Ridhima's eyes and decides to handle the situation in her hands before it's too late.

Ridhima reaches the room and breaks down in Sejal's arms. Sejal try to cocoon her with her words but, nothing was working out. Ridhima looks into her eyes and says,
"I and Vansh are like puzzle pieces that don't come together. If we force it, we'll only get hurt. If I shrink myself so that I can win the person I love, I'll be stabbing myself. It hurts if we get closer but, if we grow apart, it feels like I'll die."
Sejal has tears in her eyes yet, she stays strong before Ridhima and says,
"It does not mean it's love just because you like someone. You should look at the other person as well. If they don't want you, you should step back. That is love."
Sejal continues,
"Ridhima, we can stop all of this and move away from this family. I will speak with Bhai and make sure everyone pays for what they did with you. If you are not comfortable, then let's leave from here. We don't need to teach anything to anyone. Listen, babes, the decision of teaching them a lesson is your choice, but if you hurt yourself like this, then what's the point of the whole plan? Do you want to continue this?"
Ridhima looks at Sejal and says,
"Yes."
Sejal: Then be strong babes. Someone can hurt you when you give them a chance to hurt you. Both Vansh and Kabir have done a lot of damage as you let them do it. Now the ball is in your court. Let's play the game. Let's make them feel the pain and hurt. You know our plan since day one. So now, if you act like this, how come we will continue?
I know it's very hard to forget your love, that too when the first love and true love both betrays you. However, there is something called last love in the world. Maybe there is a person out there somewhere who can shower you with real love, darling. So until then, pick all the pieces, and build your heart with strong cement and bricks. May be built with iron. But wait, you cry so much that iron can catch rust. Wood catches termites. Tell me, with which material we can build your heart? Ah?"
Listening to her words, Ridhima smiles, hugs her, and says,
"What I would have done without you?"
Sejal replies,
"Nothing. You would have gone bonkers by now. Now, cheer up and fresh up yourself. In meantime, I will update the Ragini information to Kabir."
Ridhima: Be careful, And...
Sejal (turning around and folding her hands in front of Riddhima in prayer position and namaste): I understand all your worries Mata Ridheswari Devi (with a broad smile)
while Ridhima too laughs along with her.

Sejal was coming down the stairs; At the same moment she comes across Chanchal and Aryan who were passing through and they pass some terrifying glares at her to which Sejal looks away. Chanchal who cannot accept such rude behaviour of Sejal stop her and says,
"How can you behave with us like this? Remember one thing, you are just Ridhima's friend. However, we are family."
Sejal: Oh really? I don't think so. Because if you are, the way Vansh behaves with you, doesn't say you are part of the family.
Aryan: Don't you dare, Sejal
Sejal: I told you, don't use Vansh's lines on me. It doesn't work at all. However, I should say this to you guys. You are not following the rules which Vansh had set for both of you when he learned the truth of the kidnapping. Did you forget, No issues, I will remind you.
Flashback
The day when the truth came out Vansh has passed a new rule in the house which was supported by everyone in the house excluding Rudr.
Vansh: Neither Chachi nor Aryan will come near Sejal. They both should always maintain 500 meters away from her. If they ever come near her, she can hit them with whatever she finds near her vicinity. In case, if they are dead, he is ready to handle everything.
Sejal: Thanks Vansh! I never thought you would be so helpful showering your generosity on me
Vansh: Why you would think so? I'm a righteous person.
Sejal: Yeah, yeah. I know how good of a guy you are. Tum jab dete ho chappar phad ke tumhare family ko dete ho.
Vansh looks at Sejal in a puzzled way, whereas Ridhima understood she was taunting Vansh by saying, he showers too much generosity on unnecessary people while leaving an important person in his life.
Flashback end
Sejal: Now, I can use this vase near me, shall I use this on you both. I'm sure Vanshi boy will handle the rest. What say? (with an oversweet and broad smile.)
Aryan and Chanchal took a step back and passed away from her while Sejal moves to her room and calls Kabir.
Kabir: Say
Sejal: Hello, Mir Jafar
Kabir: Who is Jafar?
Sejal: Looks like you are weak in History. Do read the story of the Battle of Plassey. You will know the rest.
Kabir: Sejal, come to the matter.
Sejal: Ragini is up and Vansh is showering on her too much love
Kabir: So what new in this? He loves her
Sejal: Are you dumb, Kabir? Dadi is losing trust in Vansh as he is neglecting Ridhima and showering his care on Ragini. Now, Dadi is the most important person in Vansh's life. Once Dadi loses her faith in him, the rest of the family does. Now, you need to think big. Make sure to speak with your mother and try to work on these lines of mistrust. I'm sure Vansh will face the imbalance. Dadi would ask him to chose either Ridhima or Ragini. If he chooses Ragini over Ridhima, Dadi won't like it. If he chooses Ridhima, then Ragini should leave the VR Mansion. Once Ragini leaves the house, you know where she would be coming, right?
Kabir: To my place
Sejal: Bingo!
Kabir: Great idea, Sejal! I'm impressed. Whatever doubts I had about you are cleared now.
Sejal: (Tries to hit him through phone): I'm doing it for Ridhima, not to clear your doubts. Will update you soon again with more details once I see something important.
Kabir on the other side grins at this information and calls Anupriya to discuss this matter with her. Anupriya though was sceptical about how to use this information, but she agreed to instigate Dadi towards Vansh by using Ridhima.

Next Morning
Everyone sat at the breakfast table while Vansh was readying the breakfast plate for Ragaini. Though everyone has observed this none spoke about it. Ridhima eyes were on her plate and she was trying to have a morsel of food when Anupriya speaks up saying,
"Ridhima be strong. I can understand your pain. I will speak with Vansh regarding this and ask him to spend more time with you than Ragini. I know it's not easy to accept him with his past, but yes, give him some time, he will come back to you."
Ridhima: Thank you, Mummyji. However, I trust Vansh. He will never betray me. He doesn't like the ones who cheat on him. Do you think such a person would betray me? Never. Over and above, he has said he will kill himself if he ever cheats before I get to know about it. Such is our relation.
Ridhima leaves the table leaving everyone shocked as they saw Vansh listened to what all Ridhima said. Her words stung his heart. Yes, he said he will kill himself if ever he betrays her? But why it is hurting him so much? No, Ridhima is betraying him. Yes, she is with Kabir. She should be the one who should die. He will hurt her so much that she would be a dead soul like how Ragini is.
