It's going to be forever until we get the next update
If Viveka thinks he was not serious, then Raanav should do something to remedy it!! 😆
If he was just beginning to flirt, toh phir aap kyu ruk gae? Can't wait for you to continue!!
Nothing about everything ... yet another great title.
It was so Awwwwwdorabke to see her conflicted , little stunned, little shaken, a lot stirred as she begins to contemplate her dynamics with him leaving the banter aside temporarily.
Nisha Dil maange more.
Lots of thoughts , lots to say and write but will get back here in an hour or so after taking care of bfast
Ouch it is. To know that the girl you put yourself all out for is not even thinking about the proposal.
Viveka is independent is largely ok with her life ....to be just fine with no man by her side . She exudes confidence. Her political and economic theory and belief on socialism and capitalism has inbuilt in her a 'take no prisoner attitude' .
No problems with that ... I mean she's also stable enough to put it in perspective that with the right man by our side life can be much easier, better and SO much happier. I mean she yearns for what her parents share! Right doesn't mean being perfect, it just means right for you, someone you want to spend time with, someone to tell everything you want to, someone to laugh ,cry and banter with, something that she watches her parents do.
I've been enough a rebel thru youth but if marriage has taught me anything , it's this . YOU GOT TO BE A WILLING PRISONER! . YEP!!☺️
On her 'I'm no abla naari papa, I feel sometimes it's hard for an independent woman like her to admit it but having someone to just take the reins and look out for her even when she doesn't know she needs looking out for .... I mean it's not about loosing your strength, it just means someone loves you enough to make light of a predicament you don't realize you are in . Its about someone caring enough to know what you need and taking care of it .
The journey of Raanav so far FROM wearing the high hat, all uppish, snooty, condescending , elitist TO a man now completely humbled by the love he feels for her has been a revelation . He has so many good traits under all his snobbery !! When it comes to Viveka , all he knows is he needs her in his life. He is many times put in his place by the banter they have . I loved how initially he struggled with it and then made peace with himself going for it . He finally has someone he is willing to do whatever it takes for to have her by his side.
It does help she is drawn to him as well😳
Waiting to enjoy reading these two feed off each other. To witness them navigate a start a new kind of relationship with one another while striving to trouble shoot the existing one is going to be great entertainment
How do you identify 'right' ? Personally it's a lot to do with a gut instinct of how well you know yourself first more than what you know of the other person. Then work it out from there .
Bind & Break up
“Oh! That’s great” he played along
“Did you think I encouraged you when umm.. we ki… I kissed I mean?”
“No Viveka.. “I” kissed you!” he said with finality
She had not encountered men who made her weak in her knees before
Not one!
“Is the whole … did you think it’s a good idea because of that?” she questioned
He was insanely tickled
“Umm..Oh yes… it’s a major part of why I asked”
There! Viveka you have your answer now
“Oh… umm”
“You make me speechless too so its OK Viveka”
The way he said her name was going to be the absolute death of her, “I cant even….”
“Ufff” she sighed
“Can we meet?” he asked quietly
“We should to talk this through”
“You think we can talk it away huh?” he could not hide his amusement
“Umm.. no… I don’t know… Its not something I have heard before or I mean experienced you know”
“Me neither Viveka”
OK… this needs to stop, its just a regular name OKAYY?
“Does tomorrow at 3 work for you? I am not sure if your home is closer to JNU?” “Or work?”
“Can we make it 4 please?” he requested
“Umm.. OK I can finish up work in the Library”
“thanks…”
“Where do you want to meet?”
“I”
“Narmada Hostel canteen? Or Secular House… both are not usually crowded around 4”
He smiled, he would have rather brought her with him to Aerocity or City Walk Starbucks
“Sure” he nodded
“Or do you think its too hot to have chai?” she second guessed herself
“I don’t.. Viveka”
“Oh… OK…. As I am talking to you, I texted a friend that works in the Library, she might be able to get me what I need, so I will be done before 4, so you don’t have to wait too long”
She was back to her “lecturer/ stranger” composure
No joke… he smiled to himself
“Can you stay until dinner?” he deliberately messed with her by letting her know he wanted their meeting to continue, and they were not “research partners” or “IAS aspirants” or “NGO workers”
He was not her tribe…
He only had his charm… at whatever extent that was working right now
“Why?” she questioned
“I am going to discuss why it’s a terrible idea to get married and then we go our way, what is dinner going to do”
“I discovered this hole in the wall place in panchsheel I wanted to bring you to”
She found herself becoming squishy all over again, pushed her glasses up to calm down
“Oh? Umm.. whats the name?” “I ca”
“I am not telling you the name Viveka, defeats the purpose” he growled
“Oh?”
“Go with me”
“Chai AND dinner?” she questioned the rationale for that
He started to laugh throatily
“I guess so”
“I have to get back… since Ma is not here… she is leaving at 2 this no tomm morning for Berlin”
“I heard” he nodded
“Yeah… twins are impossible to control
“You crack the whip?” he asked softly
“Oh yeah… when Ma is not home I make them clean their room everyday….. NO short skirts”
“Nice” his eyes sparkled
He wished they would talk for an hour… or until sunrise, until the clear blue skies and fiery sunshine transformed a night of lashing rains
“Thanks for talking to me” she was polite
“If I am going to be married to you I should… shouldn’t I?” he ended with messing with her again
She went to bed and curled up like a ball to quash the anxiety and fear she felt when he talked like that
A strange shiver overtook her. To think someone out there thinks she will be his wife
Dude like Raanav Parashar
“What is the deal?
Why does he want o marry me?”
“SAU baar kaha isko maine” Anu was distress ranting outside
Viveka heard a screech and a wail
Anu was trying to shut that
She ran out
“KYA HUA”
“He broke up with ME” Naina bawled loudly drawing Dadi’s attention, as she stepped out of the guest bathroom in the hallway
Uffffffff!!!!
It was all so nicely falling in place and I was looking forward to take a happy bite out of whatever they were going to eat when Naina's break up burst the bubble. Raanav was getting started wooing her! Che!!!!
No wonder viveka went and curled up on the bed When he replied to her saying shouldn't he be talking to her if he were to marry her..... I mean it was so ......ufffff!!
Nooo
Naina's breakup will crush the little shoots of Viveka and Raanav's relationship. Please don't let this happen so soon. I mean we all know that this will happen some day, but not today please.
