At the cost of getting brickbats, I will say one thing from neutral perspective.

Kabir, in a way, is doing the same thing which Vansh did once upon a time. Riddhima hurt the two men's egos and they tried to force marriage on her.

The main difference is...Vansh is the hero of the shpw. So he behaved like a gentleman afterwards. Kabir is a psycho and a villain...so uska koi bharosa nahi. He will probably try to rape her.
