Eww i thought he was good but yuck at his manipulative ways and ab jaise hi Vasant is gone his evil side started coming to forth the way he and the family is treating kesar now milke usse dara rahe hain and tang kar rahe hain that was pure 😈 the way they were getting a sadistic pleasure seeing him trapped in a weak situation . It was a bit like typical zulm on weak scene once they lose their loved ones but again it made for a powerful experience with the way gulaal just rescues him with a simple seekh and gives him strength to face it doesn't say anything to others and then samjhaoes kesar alone at night šŸ‘ it is ontresting caz the happenings happen in unexpected ways . In many ways it is tried and tested formulas yet the way the characters are reacting here is unexpected in those formulas like the whole jealousy and insecurity angle aside when the accident happened all of them were genuinly concerned and also dukhi for Vasant ki death despite their insecurities and hate for gulaal all of them came as a unit and lol gigabha toh ek dum softie ban gaye hain šŸ˜† I assume temporarily though ut it was so nice to see them.keeping their internal issues aside for a bit and behave haan yeh alag baat hai ke uske baad jamuna ko sadistic pleasure if sorts milne laga in hurting the trip at home since their parents were injuredšŸ˜†

I just loved how u derstated but heartbreaking gulaal's reaction has been once she finds out Vasant is dead. Itna buildup tha and I was dreading high voltage rona dhona even for a lil while but gulaal just took it so strongly and so immediately her pain was visible in her eyes but the way she carried herself after for the well being of the family šŸ‘šŸ‘ it's not like ke she forgot that Vasant is gone but she isn't sitting there only crying and being an abla.and that is amazing to watch and how she has kind of taken the dor of the household despite being so vulnerable right now

Kesuda sabki jaan tha....lol his relationship with Vasant really was adorable....which is why it all hits extra hard once Vasant is gone.....he was a pampered brat in his childhood but how he evolves after growing up post leap is very interestingly done.

I felt so bad when in shock even gulaal pushed him poor guy went all zapped he was so shaken and then the rest of the gharwalas turning off on him didn't helped either suddenly kesuda bohat zyada akela ho gaya tha it was rather heartbreaking to see sabka aankhon ka taara being shunned away so harshly all of a sudden

Brat tha but not in a meanway he was ziddi and his zids were rather cute and harmless but yes they have spoiled him too muchšŸ˜†

They must be annoyed that makers are not showing what they want and the way they want itšŸ˜† Thankfully makers despite having RK as central characters have not gone into that zonešŸ˜†

Mujhe yehi grey area amuse karta hai about the perception towards RK....half the story has gone in Krishna telling everyone that Radha is the reason for his existence, that she is the saar of his life, of love itself....300+ episodes mein itna bola yeh Krishna ne but lagta nahin it penetrated kisi ka dimaagšŸ˜†. Everything gets lost in people's minds the moment the makers "dared" to show that Radha can still be a part of his life despite her having been married or him now being married. All of this does show that fundamentally people cannot expand their minds beyond societal norms to comprehend something more spiritual. Agar log RK ko isi nazar se dekhenge ki they are now married to other people so they should stay away from each other, then they've lost the whole point of this story.

@bold, that thinking is just so disgusting and really makes you think what did they watch the entire time if they did not get the core concept? There love is spiritual and pure and you can’t put it neatly in a box. Apni soch se upar uthne ki zaroorat hai.

Abhi this week only they showed an episode where Radha calls upon the Sudarshan Chakra on Krishna's behalf to combat Saambh.....log bolenge how dare makers show Radha with this, yeh sirf Krishna ka hai....lol but didn't Krishna say that Radha and him are one? Toh why can't she hold it then? The makers are actually showing that timeless soulmates wala angle with these two ki nothing can seperate them....not time, not societal norms.....they continue to share everything with each other even as their lives go through changes like spouses, kids. If only people put aside the rigidity of their thinking, they would see there's something beautiful about the fact that they can maintain that love in the face of so much change....that is why it stands the test of time as well. Aam insaan ke bas ki baat obviously nahin hoti....lol isiliye inka hi legend hai.

I am yet to watch the Sudarshan chakra episode. But lol that’s exactly what they will sayšŸ˜† And wasn’t Radha his only love? All his other marriages were political alliances or in case of Rukmani, she asked him to abduct her as she would not marry anyone else. So then are you going to say she emotionally manipulated him to get married😳Technically speaking he loved only onešŸ˜†

Speaking of your point regarding Radha and Rukmini being revered in different ways by different parts of the country....lol I don't know if you've reached the episode yet where they will depict Talli as Radha and Gulaal as the Rukmini of Kesar's lifešŸ˜†.

Lol not yet🤣 Abhi to they got selected as RK in the drama.

And wohi toh point hai....all the relationships have their own importance in these epics/folklore....koi competition nahin hai.....in some stories, Radha will be revered, in others, Rukmini would be. But this story has successfully managed to show a transcendent relationship b/w RK and that is something many other stories don't I feel....cuz there is always a pressure to give legitimacy only to a relationship that culminates in marriage like it did with Krishna-Rukmini. That is why it is fascinating that Radha has managed to gain this reverence without getting that kind of "legitimacy" from society.

It is actually difficult to show RKs story as there is a very thin line for the makers to tread on . This is actually a first show where they have gone in so much detail. It really is a wonder that Radha is revered in a society like ours and in many places she is revered even more than Krishna:)

ROFL@ emotional manipulation....arey nahin, only RK are the villains in this storyšŸ˜›...baaki sab unke victims hain - Rukmini bhišŸ˜†. Forum logic is that Rukmini was Krishna's fav. wife and show has not given her enough importance by showing so much RadhašŸ˜†.

LOL wohi toh point hai....so many people chased Krishna all his life....bas ek Radha hi thi that HE chased and pined foršŸ˜†....most of the women he married demanded that he marry them cuz they were besotted with himšŸ˜† and baaki as you said was political alliances and stuff. It is only his love story with Radha that is folklore jispe kitne legends and songs ban gaye hain....maybe precisely because they united on a metaphysical plane above all this sansaarik stuff, so it becomes a great metaphor for love and devotion towards the divine.

Mujhe toh bahut amusing lagta hai yeh sab that people feel the need to make it a competition....Radha ki supreme importance in Krishna's life digest kyun nahin hoti logon se, I don't getšŸ˜†....as if she isn't "allowed" to be in his life after a point so she's made it all "inconvenient" for people by showing up in this story so muchšŸ˜†

Lol not yetsmiley37 Abhi to they got selected as RK in the drama.

Oh lol I didn't meant to spoil it for you then, sorryšŸ˜†....but yeah they made a big show in that track of trying to show Talli as Kesar ki Radha but I always felt the metaphor didn't really fit that wellšŸ˜†.....especially post leap when Talli got more delusionalšŸ˜†. Gulaal had to step in as Rukmini last minute in the play....and that's when Motabha learns about the DV also....lol big reveal.

One of the most compelling story arcs in the show is the way the DV's impact keeps ebbing and flowing.....Gulaal is the one most determined to zone out the reality of the DV but she keeps getting these jolts from time to time that make her realize she can't brush it under the carpet....and then the way situations get charged around that.....oooofšŸ˜†.....I LOVE the angst in this showšŸ˜†.....some of the best scenes in the story are related around different characters talking about the DV in big confrontations.

Gulaal essentially internalizes all her pain regarding Vasant's death also because more crisis hit the family ek ke baad ek after that so she has to steel herself to face everything. That track did show the strength of character in Gulaal....she stepped up for the whole family when everything was falling apart for them....and she did it at the cost of her own life and future.

But the flip side of this tragedy doesn't become apparent until post leap when this very internalizing of her pain makes Gulaal repress her emotions to the extent of isolating herself without anyone realizing.

I want to discuss post-leap so much but tum log abhi pre-leap mein ho so I won't spoil it for youšŸ˜†.

Lol šŸ˜† I was laughing at uss loser ki haalat there and cheering for guaal.

Motabha toh lambe gaye lagte hainšŸ˜† anhi toh itneee time ke baad paanba woke up from her beauty sleepšŸ˜†

Oh I would love to discuss on scene per scene basis too caz there is so much in so many scenes I make mental notes and then the next morning when I wake up am like kya post karna tha mujhe the downside of bingeingšŸ˜† but yeah once am done or a little ahead I would love to deeply discuss caz am really really enjoying it and everyone. There are shinning moments of glory for each one of them.

The other thing is I have to really go and fetch and they are edited badly sometimes important dialogues of a scene are missed caz of bad split of a part.

Like I only watched the Vasant dying track last night and it was at most 6,7 episodes bur ot felt like I already watched about 100 episodes due to so much back and forth the stupid dailymotion doesn't even show the next part automatically like YouTube does thankfully the show is worth it warna main kab ka give up kar chuki hotišŸ˜†

Yeah it sucks ki stupid Hotstar has still not uploaded this show . And we all have to struggle to watch in bits and pieces like this. Sigh.
