Samay rehte sach bataya toh Kaka can deal with Avni who is otherwise going to look like the victim here.

I feel like there's a lot of reasons why Kallu went directly in panic mode: Sarthak isn't the same nice Kaka he used to be, he now will do anything to hurt Kalyani because he knows that it'll hurt Anu. She also knows Malhar is a righteous person who won't consider the circumstances of what happened and will just go on to punish whoever he thinks is to blame.

Even if she manages to explain to both agar went down and they understand, Sarthak will start a custody battle and won't stop until he has taken away Moksh from Kalyani and given the kid to Avni, not only as a way of making her feel better after her loss, but also because it'll satisfy his own need for revenge by making Kalyani suffer.
