Malhar doesn't know what happened

Neither he knows moksh is his child

He is a righteous police officer

He said that he will punish whoever the culprit is that's all

He is doing his duty as a police officer

And a honest and loyal officer is supposed to keeps aside personal emotions while doing duty

It's not that you have power hence you will not send your family to jail even if the kill someone

Ofcourse pillu case was an accident

But one cannot avoid investigation and procedures

I feel sad for Moksh first he got kidnapped, made do all chores at home, beaten, kept hungry etc and now accidently killed someone and the only person he felt loved by and could truly consider his own Kallu will be the one sending him to the correction home not that she is wrong in doing so but still.

What happened to Ahir was an accident so hope Kalyani and Malhar succeed and absolving Moksh off this crime soon as possible.
