The logic is same as her parents'.

Its okay to humiliate Prachi if she was not related him. He felt bad only after knowing she's his daughter, not because she was right.

And

Mommy felt bad for scolding Rhea because she's her daughter. Its like you shouldn't scold your daughter even if she tries to kill someone.
