True, common man's money is also wasted on faltu FIR's in SSR case where after a whole lot of waste of resouces of everyone nothing is found after 5 months. Also common man's money is wasted on security given to Kangana of the level of supreme court judge.

Some may not like Arnab's style of journalism but the manhandling that he went through yesterday has put the Mumbai police once again in a spot..

A few more questions:

9) How come 100's of Republic staff have been named in an FIR?

Is this some Emergency that people at all levels have been targeted.

10) How come the drug angle was uncovered in the SSR case by CBI while the Mumbai police did just some "friendly interviews" with Karan Johar and others for almost 2 months?

11) The police have gone after Arnab in TRP scam even though the original complaint was against India Today. India Today were even asked to give a 5lakh deposit by BARC in this matter and this was upheld by the court (https://www.nationalheraldindia.com/india/bombay-hc-directs-tv-today-network-to-deposit-rs-5-lakh-fine-imposed-by-barc-for-granting-interim-protection) but subsequently this matter was mysteriously closed and Republic was named as the conspirator.

12) Times Now was carrying exactly the same News as Republic in SSR case but they suddenly changed tack and they carried the news which suited the Aghadi Govt. and they were spared.

@kamal - we all know how the things are going on at present but even then is the person arrested innocent ? If someone takes on govt and powerful people on a TV channel , shouts against them day and night he should be very well prepared to face the consequences right ? Also for the suspected person is not to be decided by him as guilty just because he has a tv channel under him. He is not innocent. He is responsible for taking media channel crossing all the boundaries by conducting media trials. Coming to the Naik case there is a strong evidence of suicide letter against him. Don't you think arnab deserves what is happening to him ?

@Bold, If that is the logic then one should be prepared that prominent people/channels will be targeted if they speak up against any establishment.

Weren't there 2 other names in the suicide note? and one of them owed 4 crores. Are the other 2 also held like Arnab? Who's to decide what Arnab deserves?
