If Rags ends up dying cuz of Kabir, then it still doesn't make sense for her to stay behind. Cuz Kabir can't say Vansh did it, and expect her to find proof for it. She'll be on a wild goose chase for the rest of her life. But Vansh could keep her hostage, and essentially prevent her from going anywhere. He'll do whatever it takes to find out who she was working with.
