How did he get out of jail? He was working with Naxatiles, he was a Naxatile himself, so how did het get out in 4/5 years? I have a feeling he escaped from jail, he probably married this Avni thinking she was rich/he wanted to use her as a cover, and then he ran away.

Cause Avni's friend specifically called Ahir her husband. So they must have been married. And based on BTS, there is some flashback and Avni is still dressed as a married woman. So if Ahir is not dead and he ran away, then Avni is still legally married to him.
