Today, the Raghuvanshis were going to visit "Tanah lot". Located on a beautiful offshore rock in Tabanan regency, Bali, Tanah Lot or 'Land on the Sea' is a Hindu shrine believed to be about 500 years old.
URMILA- omg.. these sculptures and designs are so rare... These look amazingly beautiful..
Exclaimed Urmila looking at the island and the rock designs around. From this beautiful rock temple, the Pura Ulu Watu temple site on the cliffs to the south can be seen, and a long sweep of azure waters to the west, near Negara can also be witnessed.
SHRUTI- this place is literally a photographer's paradise. Look at its astounding architecture and intricate rock faces.
Shruti points her finger to indicate everyone to show them the rock designs. They reached at the temple's rock base, there is a fountain called Tirta Pabersihan that is believed to spout holy water.
RAM- watch for the steps..
Ram ask everyone to step down the stairs carefully.
URMILA- ouch...
Urmila's foot got lightly twist as she step on a rock.
SIYA- careful...
Shouts Siya looking upstairs at Urmila.
LAKSHMAN- dekha. ? That's why I have asked you to not wear these heels.
Said Lakshman holding urmila's hand. She pouts at him.
SHATRUGHAN- ha but the problem is.. they never listen to us..
Shruti hits Shatrughan's shoulder as he complains about the girls.
LAKSHMAN- areh.. agar biwiyo ne patiyo ki bat maan li to duniya oolti nahi ho jayegi..?
Taunts lakshman while Bharat giggle at this.
MANVI- excuse me..
Manvi looks angrily at Bharat while he gulped in fear.
URMILA- agar patniyo ki burayi karna ho gaya ho then should we move..? Dii and jiju are waiting for us..
Said Urmila looking some steps down where Siya and Ram were waiting for them. Everyone nods and started moving down the cliff. As they reached at the bottom, there were priests sprinkling holy water on visitors. On the same rock base are the temple's guardian snakes, living in the crevices.
SIYA- Urmila.. you take out your heels. Otherwise it will be difficult for you..
Suggested Siya and Urmila nods in agreement. A pathway exists to reach the temple from the shore. Everyone reached at the top of the cliff where tourist guides and photographers were ready to help the tourists.
GUIDE- may I help you sir..?
Asked a man coming near Ram.
RAM- sure.. please..
GUIDE- There is a dress code that is informally enforced here. This is considered appropriate temple attire..
The man guides them with the attire indicating them to move towards his shop. The couples enters his shop while the tourists hands them some clothes.
MANVI- is it compulsory to wear ?
Asked Manvi looking at the dress. Women are required to cover their legs, usually with a sarong or a kebaya (native Indonesian dress) along with covering their shoulders (such as the use of a scarf).
LAKSHMAN- wohi to.. is it dress code for the temple.?
Asked Lakshman looking at an udeng (Balinese headdress made from folded clothes).
GUIDE- yes sir. These are the attires for the temple. If you don't wear these, the locals consider it as disrespectful.
The guide gave them the information about the temple norms. Everyone nods in agreement and moved inside the small rooms situated at the back side of the shop to get ready in the traditional wears.
SHRUTI- we have to click ourselves..
Said Shruti looking at everyone's clothes. Bharat takes his cellphone to capture the photos of everyone. They started with the couples, some pictures with the individuals and then some group photos. After that the couples went inside the temple as it was the time for the prayer. Outside the temple, at the surrounding, the kechak dance is held that lasts almost for an hour. The performers invite the girls to join them dance. The boys capture their pictures and videos while dancing.
MAN- sir, Bergabunglah dengan kami..
One of the man who was dancing in the crowd invites Ram and others to dance.

Shatrughan goes near Shruti as the performers started giving the beats with the drums. While the others present around them started clapping their hands.

Ram moves towards Siya and forwards his hand. She smiles accepting his hold.

Lakshman pulls Urmila towards him as he sings for her. Bharat started giving the beats with the drums as Manvi dance at his tune.

He leaves the drum indicating the performers to continue, moving himself near Manvi.

Said Urmila snatching the menu card from Manvi.

Manvi said taking the menu card in her hand and frowning at Urmila.
