as for story progressing is good. i like it. when she called Dear HUSBAND..................😎i can imagine this scene and Vansh reaction. Even Vansh is unable to decode.😆 and he won't no matter how much he try won't succed till Riddhima herself allows it to happen this is what i called character development. This riddle going to turn his world upside down.😎 Is riddle ko suljhate suljhaye inki (read KaVa) khud ki life riddle ban jayegi can't wait for Kabir and riddhima scene, when he will be shocked to see his pawn is not his pawn anymore.😈 that's the thing Riddhi is no pawn she is a Queen and it's high time she makes all of them realise it that in the game of chess its the Queen who has maximum moves that makes her unpredictable and dangerous not the King or anyone else. A Queen can fight to safeguard her king and lay down her life if needed to be but can also become downfall of the King while herself being the sole survivor;)

Chapter 3

If you have a chance to throw a dice, throw it without hesitation.

The moment you throw it, you will get to advance at least one square.

“won’t leave you now” echoed in Vansh’s head again. Did he just sense a threat there wondered Vansh or was it his imagination? Thinking so he followed her to their room.

Riddhima is back in their (?) room. Her room. Their room. So many memories yet now they all look like a scene from a big well-orchestrated play and indeed it was whose director and actor was her husband (thought Riddhima with a sad chuckle).

The place where they shared many moments. Since day one from when he put a gun on her head to the day when he said I will be staying in his heart forever. But this room is not the same or was it her. Things have changed so did the feelings. Now it's a room of a person who asks for loyalty and trust but forgets to give the same.

Vansh who has followed her to their room leaned on the door frame and observed her while she was looking around the room.

Vansh (smirking): Seems like you missed this place or maybe me?

Hearing his voice Ridhima came out of her thoughts. For a moment her eyes hardened but quickly recovering she turned around and with a smile says

Riddhima: Oh you have no idea how much I have thought about you in these past two months.

Said Riddhima with an undertone edge but stopped before Vansh can detect it.

Vansh (smirking inwardly): Really? Good to hear that but somehow not able to believe it sweetheart

said Vansh with an amused voice.

Understanding what he was indicating at and trying to do Riddhima turns back and asks innocently,

Riddhima: Really? And why is so?

Vansh: Well for the starters you left without my knowledge on a medical camp that you never mentioned to me before, then no calls or messages. Nothing. You see I felt ignored.

Riddhima: Wow…husband (with surprise in her voice) did you missed me that much?

Vansh: (rolling his eyes inwardly thought miss? You? My foot with a smirk) Oh sweetheart you started to make me doubt you. Kahin firse meri jasoosi or some new plans. (said Vansh with a drawl in his voice)

Riddhima: And that’s why you sent Angre to get information about me to confirm if I lied or indeed I want for the camp? So what did you got to know?

Vansh stayed silent seeing Riddhima continued

Ridhima: It’s nothing like that. I was just busy with some new treatments that I am planning for Sia. You see, I came to this house to treat Sia. Other than treating Sia, I think I have done everything. Married you, saved you from dying, arranged marriage for Ishani and Angre, above all, every week at least 4-5 times I stood at the gates of death. Therefore, after a lot of thinking in the past two months, I realized one should do the work which they specialized. I'm good at treating patients. So that’s what I will do treat everyone.

Vansh (confusedly): Everyone?

Ridhima: Uff husband! I mean, I will treat Sia and also the one I should, you see in case of an emergency everyone needs a Doctor right?? Beside’s I'm a Doctor. Hope, you didn't forget that.

Vansh can sense her sarcasm in her talks. He is the master of playing with the words while he cannot see someone doing the same with him. And when that someone is Ridhima, no he cannot allow that. His ego would not allow him to be defeated in this game of wits.

Vansh: I didn't know being away from me will make you so romantic that you are calling me husband since your arrival. However, I would like to hear only Vansh from you.

Ridhima: Is that so but why? ( with surprise and raising her eyebrow) I am your wife or are you looking forward to someone else to call you husband? Having eyes on someone else behind my back husband? ( said Riddhima teasingly with a hint of seriousness which went undetected by Vansh).

Yes, he is! He wants to be called a husband only by Ragini. Not by this orphan girl. Yet, he controls his anger and says

No sweetheart! Why would I give that privilege to anyone else other than you?

Ridhima: Good, Husband! You see I was worried thought you are betraying me. I went for two months, who knows you could have got a girlfriend or another wife. ( said Riddhima with fake concern in her voice)

Vansh: How could you think so low of me?

Riddhima rolled her eyes inwardly hearing him.

Ridhima: Husband, please calm down. You see, you are a man who married me because you doubted me.I felt it is your hobby to marry everyone whom you doubt or are suspicious about. I felt you would end up mistrusting someone and might decide and get hitched with her.

Said Riddhima with such seriousness that it shocked and appalled Vansh making him think.

Vansh stood at an across road. She is right. He got married her because she is the lover of Kabir. He doubts about her. However, what the hell? What is she implying through those words? Like, he marries every other girl whom he suspects? How can she even think like that of him? Or he married her despite having doubts on her?

Vansh (narrowing his eyes at her): Where is that old Ridhima who used to listen to me and act accordingly?

Ridhima: Oh you mean the Ridhima who could only listen what you want to tell her and see what you want to show her. Husband, come on you should have gotten used to it by now.Why so surprised? It’s not like I haven’t behaved differently than your expectations before? Paheli remember? Get used to it. It will help us to live peacefully under one roof. I don't think you would like to shift to the couch after habituated to sleep on the bed. Now, if you excuse me, let me fresh up and get some rest. I will see you at lunch.

Saying so Ridhima leaves to the washroom to fresh up while Vansh stood rooted gaping at her with slightly opened mouth. He can sense a change in Ridhima. However, he is still unable to pinpoint what this change of attitude actually is. Will it help him in future or not? He has planned to do many things with her, torment her mentally to an extent where she will run away and meet Kabir directly. But here, he needs to change his plan of action. He needs to observe Riddhima for now.

Ridhima stood before the mirror and she remembers the words someone dear to her told her, "Let's not waste any more new tears on the past from here on." Yes, she cannot, she should not waste her tears on either Vansh or Kabir. I think by now Anupriya would have told Kabir that I'm back. I feel he is waiting to hear from me.

Ridhima (in mind): Wait for some more time, Kabir. I will meet you soon and smirks while looking at her reflection in the mirror.

Ridhima is back to the room and sighs as she sees no presence of Vansh. She doesn't want to share the bed with him, but if she does not, he will suspect her more and right now she cannot let him doubt her any more then he already does. It is not time for her to tell him she knows his truth.

At the same time, Sia comes into the room saying Vansh said Ridhima was calling her. Ridhima understood why he said that? He wants to test her. Vansh and his never-ending tests (thinking Ridhima shakes her head).

Ridhima: Yes, Sia. From tomorrow morning, you would be undergoing some changes in your treatment. I somehow neglected you since I married your brother. But not anymore delays. Let’s do what I came here to do at the first place. I will make sure within no time you start running in this house and if you like can go to the Olympics also.(said with a smile and wink)

Sia: Bhabi, if you don't mind, can I ask a question?

Ridhima: Of course

Sia: Are you okay?

Ridhima: Why do you ask so?

Sia: I don’t know but you seem not yourself somehow. But you still feel like you fine, but I don’t know sad maybe? It’s okay to be not okay. You don’t have to be okay all the time.

Ridhima (smiles with tears in her eyes): I'm fine.

Sia (worried):Bhabi, Life is like that. No matter what's making you suffer right now, things will settle and pass eventually. Hang in there until then. You'll find yourself stronger.

Ridhima hugs Sia while the hug had made Sia understand something is bothering Ridhima.

Ridhima: It's not easy for someone to see others for who they are. We're busy worrying over ourselves and trivial things. I'm glad you worry about me. However, trust me, Sia, I'm fine. I'm just tired and (taking Sia’s hand hers)I missed you.

Sia (with a smile):If you say so Bhabi. Take rest then.

Ridhima bids goodbye to Sia and lies down on the bed while remembering about the words someone said, "No matter how painful things are, it will all be in the past soon. It depends on you whether you will do nothing and keep crying about the past or make good memories that you want to remember later."

Ridhima (Mind): The good memories which I carry from here will be of you and Dadi, saying she drifts into the deep slumber.
