Chapter 25

Ridhima is following the footsteps of the men whom Vansh has sent for her. Vansh can see from the cameras that Ridhima is in terrifying phase while his heart wants to soothe her. Yet, his mind says to play the game first by keeping feelings aside. Vansh knows today whatever he is playing is like opening himself more before Ridhima which either can make him more powerful by having Ridhima beside her or destroy him by keeping Ridhima with him.

Vansh men make her stand near a container and says her to look whom he is speaking and Ridhima was unsure what's happening around her and looks at the direction they showed and get surprised to see a woman with Vansh. Then she says - Ragini.

Ridhima (Mind): What the hell? Ragini is alive? Then why Vansh was saying she was dead? It means he never killed her in the first place. Vansh is protecting Ragini? Wait, is he keeping her safe then why she was in hospital suit and looking so pale. What's happening? Why Kabir asked his men to show me? Kabir wants proof against Vansh, what evidence is this?

Then it is not Kabir who planned this. How could I be so stupid? It is Vansh playing this game. Yes, Angad has said Vansh now knows everything. So Vansh is testing my loyalty. What should I do? If I pass this, then his feelings for me will grow more; f I fail then he will make sure to torment me. I'm stuck with him. But, I need to keep Vansh safe and for which I need his trust. So I need to pass this test. Later I can see how I can move away from his life. Right now, I need to get through this necessary task created by him. But why he is showing me Ragini? What kind of test it is where he showcases his most treasured secret?

Ridhima: What is that Kabir wants me to show here? Ragini is alive. He said he would prove me Vansh is a cold-blooded murderer. Keeping Ragini safe only shows I'm right about him.

Men 1: He is a cold-blooded murderer. See, in what condition Ragini is? If he was protecting Ragini, then she should be safe somewhere living with luxuries. Here, she is in a container that belongs to Vansh. So how come he is safeguarding her?

Ridhima: Listen, man, I don't know who you are. Going with your words, who said keeping in luxury means protecting someone. Sometimes, it is crucial to keep a person in a place where no one can find them. Every enemy of Vansh will check Ragini in hotels, bungalows etc. Yet, no will keep a tab on a container because if that person is getting the protection of Vansh Rai Singhania, do you think the enemy would be thinking about port yard first?

Vansh heard the conversation between his men and Ridhima. He is happy to see her thoughts even after showcasing Ragini before her. Yet, somehow his mind is unable to trust Ridhima fully and he is losing his calm nature. His doubts about her are increasing by each second. Therefore, he felt its time he confront her rather than playing.

Vansh signals his men to bring Ridhima into the secret den. Ridhima again follows the men and this time she knows she will be confronting Vansh. Unknown to her, Yug was following her each move. He saw Vansh with a girl and then Ridhima being confused. He knows Ridhi very well that after seeing her expressions, he can say Ridhi knows this girl. Ridhima enters the den and enacts as if she was shocked to see Vansh in front of her.

Vansh: Welcome Ridhima! What should I call you? Dr Ridhima - a physiotherapist, Ridhima - party planner, Dr Ridhima as Dr R, Dr Ridhima - the shield or Dr Farishey, Ridhima - founder of Ashiana Foundation or Ridhima - lover of inspector Kabir.

Ridhima: Ridhima Vansh Rai Singhania

Vansh: Interesting! Very Interesting!

Good to see the confidence in your eyes Ridhima. But, how can you think I will be joining my name with you? When I know the truth that you in are my life because of Kabir. You are a spy.

Ridhima: I won't ask you to trust my words because I'm in that position. Yet, will say give me a chance like how you gave for Mummyji.

Vansh: I will Ridhima. I always give a chance to the betrayer to explain themself. But the story should match mine. If you try to make any changes, then face the consequences.

Ridhima: I don't know what you learned. I don't know to what extent you learned the truth. So let me put this straight. No lies. Then you can compare the story.

Vansh: Start!

Ridhima: If there is anything I loved in the world is 'Love'. To be part of a family which I can call as mine. I never loved anything other than the emotion, love. If you know me being Dr R and founder of Ashiana Foundation, I won't say the background story of mine with Maa and Yug because I think you know by now know what happened with Ayana and Maya. So I was all alone. That's when I met Inspector Kabir. He is a sweet guy. Kabir said he was a PT guy in a school. So I believed him. We have been together for two years.

Then I met you at the party. The first time we met, I don't know who you are also I also don't know Kabir was an inspector. Later that day I proposed him by going on my knees. He accepted it. That moment was the most memorable moment at that time.

Vansh is unable to control her anger. The way she is describing her moments with Kabir as memorable while the smile on her lips is making him cringe every second. He wants to kill Kabir right now and hurt Ridhima badly.

Ridhima: The same night, he was wounded when we met at the beach. That's when he said he works for the Police department and he aims to arrest Vansh Rai Singhania - a cold-blooded murderer and smuggler.

I want to love or I say blinded by love. That is something I don't have in my life. So I said yes. When I entered your life, I never thought you would take me into hostage.

I wanted to complete the task given by him. But the day you hurt the innocent man, I felt I'm done with you. I don't want to continue this mission because I cannot see innocent man people getting hurt because of me. But, you were the one who proposed the marriage. I was not ready for the wedding, therefore, I tried to elope too. But Kabir came to VR Mansion and said if we don't get evidence against you, he won't live. Again, I married you for the sake of love because I cannot lose Kabir.

Vansh is not ready to digest whatever she is saying. Everything she has done is for him - The inspector Kabir. Every single word she said is to safeguard Kabir from him.

Vansh: Enough! I understood you did everything for him.

Ridhima: Listen to whole story Vansh, please. I know every word is hurting you. But please listen. I want my part of the narrative to be out before you. Every time I want to reveal to you, but I was unsuccessful. Today I want to tell the truth to you. Please!

Vansh: Just finish your sad story soon. I'm not interested.

Ridhima: Everything changed since I took the bullet. You know Vansh, regarding Ragini, it was Aryan who said you might have killed her. I brushed off those thoughts. Later, Mrs D'Souza said you could kill a person. That's when I started doubting you. Again, Satte was killed when I learnt he was Ragini's father. Though later you said he wasn't. Everything was interlinked for me. The way you behaved with me and showcasing yourself before me, used to keep me on toes. You are the big bad wolf who is ready to hunt his prey.

The final straw was when you planned to kill me. That's when everything changed. I don't know why I took the bullet for you. I don't have regrets Vansh. If I need to do again, I will do the same. I will stand before the bullet. I will try to protect you with everything I Have. But what changed - don't know. Maybe you were showing a different Vansh to me. The Vansh who is a caretaker, a protector and all. Day by day, your presence made me realize without knowing the entire truth I'm blaming you. You never lied to me about Ragini. The way you protect me from everything, the way you being with me made me realize you are different and you are keeping a shield to protect yourself from another betrayal. Days went by, I was thinking more about you than Kabir. Today, I want to prove Kabir you are innocent, not because I wanted to. Tomorrow, I don't want any other person to hurt you as I did. Tomorrow, I don't want any other police officer do the same thing what Kabir is doing. Tomorrow, I don't want any other person to say you are capable of killing someone. See, Ragini is alive. I don't need to know why you are lying about her. I'm happy that I'm right with you. With this, I can end the relationship with Kabir because he was never my true love.

Vansh is happy to hear her words. Kabir is not her true love. Then is she in love with him? He is happy to know Ridhima wants to start a new life without Kabir. So is she ready to give this relationship a chance?

Ridhima: Now, this is the story Vansh. I have told everything about me and Kabir. If you feel I'm hiding anything more, please ask questions. I will answer them truthfully. However, I would request please don't build your versions. Please.
