I don't know about importance, yet. I have been able to understand that he is a man with no ego, but he has pride. And pride ke chakkar mei he didn't give her a fair chance, became the judge-jury-executioner and it resulted in putting her through a lot of misery.
I'm not saying that Bon made no mistakes. The fact is she lied. But as Ani said himself, he failed to read through her silence. He should have thought why was the fireball all doused when he questioned her. So, he realizes that he is somewhat responsible for what she has faced at the hands of the villagers and is facing in HM. And he cares for her genuinely but at this point, we cannot name it anything but affection or friendship. And the makers haven't really worked much on both of these aspects. But every emotion he felt after regret is passing in a blurr.
Maybe I need to see the episodes again to understand better.
Yup!! Bon was at fault I don't deny that. Ani's mistake was he behaved too harshly with her. She did mistake but he somewhat made her a culprit infront of the villagers when clearly she too was a victim of Brij's manipulations. If he was that concerned about justice he should have ran behind Brij and brought him there. And whatever he had known of her he should know she isn't jhoothi Bondita. As you said he failed to read her silence. He didn't try to figure out there maybe some reason. Another mistake was throwing her out, that was too much, mean at the end of the day she is a kid, had Batuk done it, would thay have him thrown out?
I feel that he is very deeply attached to her but since she was always around he kinda took their bond and her for granted. He always thought she is just a responsibility which he is fulfilling and he sacrificed his love and all ( though he did but I don't think what Ani Mini have is love) he somewhere thought because of Bon, he couldn't marry Mini. And he also threw her out thinking she was not a truthful person, and he did a mistake by taking her responsibility. But after she went away he suddenly felt very lonely and empty even though he had Mini and all his family around. He also got back everything he lost, got a chance to marry Mini, Bon was also out of picture, all his family were happy but he wasn't. He didn't want all that anymore. So he should realise by now that what he was doing for Bon is just not responsibility. He was genuinely happy with her.
By the time Rasiya confronted him I guess he already realised he was too harsh, he just needed someone to tell him that. But when Sampoo told him the truth, ek toh his guilt doubled and somewhere he was happy I guess because Bondita actually turned out as how he had imagined her to be. So now he seems overwhelmed with emotions, bechara was missing her, is feeling guilty and then she went missing.
I do feel he loves her though completely platonically. There are so many people in our life whom we love very much but platonically. But makers are making Rudhita seem like some bichde hue premi right now
sometimes I feel they themselves are confused what to show about Ani's emotions. But really they can show he loves her platonically. Every relationship need not ne romantic. They should atleast make him realise she is not just zimmedari but a person he has genuinely come to care for and is happy with her.
Idk makers are showing too much emotions and deep bond of Rudhita. hope they show some consistency after Rudhita are back to Mansion
