Chapter 24

Everything in Vansh's life is a pre-planned step. Even the marriage with Ridhima too. He is a person who doubts everyone. But, whoever he doubts won't become Mrs Vansh Rai Singhania. Yet, Ridhima became his wife. There is something in her which pulled him towards her. Since the first meeting to until today, the way she back answers him, the way she says whatever he is doing wrong without thinking about the repercussions, questioning about Ragini - everything, she never behaved the way a spy should behave. She forgot she is a spy since past some days. Her job is to learn about his illegal business, then why she started decoding him. Why the hell she is trying to understand him like no other person. He always knows Ridhima has a person in her life seeing the fingerprint of the ring, yet he never thought it would be Inspector Kabir - the man whom he hates the most. Kabir has planned very well. He wanted me to defeat by using the heart because he knows I won't be defeated if played by the mind. However, he is not a person who can win through heart games also. Ridhima has only two options now - if she proves she supports him, then her steps towards his heart will be a difficult path, yet, she will be the only Queen in this world, who will rule him and his heart. If she proves herself as a betrayer, then she will be his Queen, but he will be the ruler of her fate.

Vansh: Now lets the game begin Ridhima! I'm looking forward to your future choice. Vansh calls to AF and says he needs to speak with Ridhima.

AF

Ridhima: Hello, who is this?

Kabir: Ridhima, its me Kabir

Ridhima is shocked to listen to Kabir's voice. How come he knows that she lives in AF. Then she remembers in VR Mansion other than her someone is helping Kabir and she thinks through them he got to know. Therefore, she enacts as if she doesn't catch his lie.

Ridhima: Kabir, how do you know I live in AF? I never told you about this?

Kabir: Ridhima, do you think I wouldn't know about this. When I learned you are not in VR Mansion, then I thought you would be volunteering here. Remember you said you work here. That's why I called you.

Ridhima knows she never mentioned AF name. She said she works under an orphanage which managed by AF. But the head office number - she feels something is fishy, yet goes with the flow.

Ridhima: Kabir, I never told you I work here. However, as you got to know, tell me what this call regarding

Kabir: How many more days you need to bring a shred of evidence against Vansh? It has been more than two months.

Ridhima: You said you are working to get evidence against him for two years, did you ever put him in prison? Then why are so expecting me to bring so soon?

Kabir: Ridhima, I'm an outsider due to which I couldn't get any evidence against him. You are an insider also you are his wife, by now you need to know on what he works!

Ridhima: Look Kabir, I feel Vansh is not a bad guy. I feel there is more to this Ragini's death. Vansh has saved me many times, I don't think he can kill someone.

Kabir: What happened to you Ridhima? How can you be like that? Vansh is the same guy who tried to kill you and at the same time, he killed many other people. Why are you trusting him?

Ridhima: Listen, Kabir, I didn't say I trust him. However, I do believe him. Belief and trust are two different things. Trust is where we don't question what other person asks or says which I did when you told marry Vansh. No second thoughts and all. When it comes to Vansh, I believe him. I do believe that he is not what he portrays. He is a nice man who was hurt by every person he meets. So having thoughts about me betraying him is very natural. He acted accordingly. I don't blame him. Since day one he was honest with me saying he doesn't like liars and betrayers. Therefore, tomorrow if he wants to punish me for lying and hiding the secrets, then I'm ready to take the pain because I deserve it.

Vansh never thought he would hear these words from Ridhima. Yes, It is not Kabir who is speaking with Ridhima. It is Vansh. He called her as Kabir by using voice modulation technique. Indeed, he is hurt when she said she trusted Kabir and made him realize the difference between Trust and Belief. However, right now, she is defending him against Kabir - her boyfriend. She is standing with him and saying she believes him. But, to what extent he can feel assured of her words. He wants to check in detail before he gives her another chance.

Kabir: Seriously, Ridhima, this is not something I would like to hear from you. Yet, you feel he is the one you believe then I will show what kind of a man he is! Why don't you come to the port yard, I will prove Vansh is a cold-blooded murderer.

Ridhima doesn't know why he is hell-bent of proving about Vansh when she knows everything about him. She doesn't want to go but if she says no, don't know what he might plan for Vansh. So, she reluctantly agrees and says Okay, will meet you in an hour.

Kabir: Great Ridhima, come and witness the real Vansh

Ridhima: Let's be clear on this Kabir, if I don't see Vansh as you are mentioning to me, then let's stop this. I won't be bringing you any evidence on Ragini. At the same time, I will start afresh. When I fresh start, it doesn't include you.

Vansh is happy to hear she said want to start afresh life in which Kabir is not part of it. He is glad he is playing this game. Yet, Vansh is ready to play this game because Vansh cannot hide the fact of who is he. If he also wants to give her a second chance and at the same time if she wants to live with him where he is not sure what a new beginning of the life of her means. But, he knows, her fresh live will be having only Vansh with her and no matter when she accepts it or not.

Ridhima cuts the call and feels the whole conversation is something she never expected she would be having with Kabir. She tries to call Angad to share the information but, his phone is in switched off mode. She doesn't know she needs to do. However, as she spoke on the phone, she will be going to the port yard. The truth is she knows what Vansh is capable of and now will be seeing his real face is what scares her. Is she still willing to play this game? She doesn't know. Right now, she cannot fall for Kabir's trap and make sure to keep Vansh safe.

Mrs Radha: Ridhima, where are you going?

Ridhima: Maa, I have some work to do. I will come back soon. Don't worry.

Yug is passing through the same path, gets to hear the conversation between Ridhi and his mother. He knows he behaved very rudely with her earlier but what she was asking him to do is nonsense. He can see she is worried about something and thinks to follow her.

Ridhima reaches the port yard and searches for Kabir. She doesn't have a phone with her to call him also. Vansh is monitoring the whole scenario, signals his men to work on the plan. What he missed was Yug is also with her in the port yard and he saw some strange men coming near Ridhima.

Yug: Who are they? Why Ridhi is here? Is she is in any trouble? Should I interfere now or wait until I understand what's happening with her?

At the same time, the men come near Ridhima and ask her is she is here regarding Inspector Kabir?

Ridhima: Yes, who are you?

Men 1: We are here to show you the real face of Vansh. Kabir has planned everything. Do please come with us and what Vansh is doing right now.

Ridhima: Who are you guys?

Men 2: We said right, Kabir has sent us

Ridhima: Kabir and you guys don't match at all. Tell me who sent you guys?

Men 1: Listen, madam, Kabir has sent us to make sure you be safe because if VR men see you then, they might harm you. You don't want that, right? So please come with us.

Ridhima reluctantly follows them and they take her near a cabinet and says hide and watch.

Yug who is following them make sure he doesn't get trapped near any CCTV and goes behind those men to safeguard Ridhima if needed.
