Maybe it's more of theoretical vs practical.

Pree knows everything theoretically about you know everything (esp being gynac) but practically she panics & yes to a point can understand since she's only had something faltu with Yuvraj & then there's Rudra who's a) famous b) good looking c) flirt d) has hated her before. Practically he is master as this and she is rookie. He can press all the buttons to the max and she is too new to this. So it is really testing directly by fire. I don’t think the famous etc factor comes in. And I don’t think the flirt factor comes in much either because she has seen him give that up for saransh and even with mm she knew it to hurt her. Otherwise he doesn’t give a damn about other girls or the fame or money.

And she considers herself to be a very simple girl (which she is and is not) & I guess from her perspective and Rudra's initial comments to/about her, she cannot contemplate that he can be head over heels, hopelessly, crazily in love with her. I don’t think that is the issue becuase she sees the inner him now. And as she said, he is still a small kid at heart who wants his fathers approval, who wants to be be loved truly, protected. Small things that she took for granted but he never had. She knows that now that she has come close to him.

Its a difficult concept for her to wrap around her head.
