Yeah the ILU seemed out of place there & not required.

The scene immediately before....both are trying so hard to express but not able to find words and are gaping at each other

But each gets the other perfectly by their expressions alone & both are a bit exhilarated.

There's an unsaid implication that they both have haq on e/o now (even though not fully yet) but they both do realise it's not just friends/for Saaransh anymore.

They can expect something from the other now. And yes Rudra never leaves his hold on her and she's very comfortable with it.

After that he wants to wait for her but she tells him to go back for Saaransh.

They should have followed this up with a subsequent scene.

@bold - yes, this scene onwards she's very comfortable with him touching her....as if its his right...and she has given him that. She's comfortable with hugs, face touches, touching her hair by now.

The full frontal, no holds barred assault during the party overwhelms her as Rudra has always till now been hesitant and has held back.
