Unless the CBI comes out with some official statement regarding the case, the SSR case won't take steam. The Maha Govt is issuing FIR on FIR by malicious means to Arnab and his Republic and it's clear, that the case will be diverted to focus on this issue.

This is a blatant abuse of power by Mumbai police CP and Maha Govt.

Unless the opposition and the central govt do not take notice and give a warning or take a strong offense to this misuse of power, they will get away with this. The justice section should also come into it strongly now.

Another FIR today by former CP of Mumbai filed a case to stop Arnab from talking as he is maligning Mumbai police as per him.

Arnab has written a letter to the President, stating the malicious agenda opposite him......

as for Govt taking a stand, I believe its not easy for center govt to just remove the state govt........ otherwise they wouldnt have let this aghadi come in power, as BJP had won the maximum seats......yet SS aligned with BJP and forced BJP voters to vote for it and then went ahead and created a aghadi with NCP and Congress who had actually lost the election.......... so center wouldve taken a step then if it could.......... only the president can take a stand........ unfortunately, they think this issue is smaller compared to the rest of maharashtra and hence isnt worthy of president's rule..........

I do have a feeling that CBI may be getting pressured to stop investigating altogether. Republic reported that CBI has traced Rohan Rai. Ishkaran said they haven’t touched he Disha Salian case yet ? Maybe the news of CBI concluding was true. But they are putting on a face until elections.
