I don't watch Arjun Kapoor movies. I just don't see why I should be spending my hard-earned money on someone who doesn't give an eff about his craft or the audience or manages to look even remotely presentable.
Never seen any of his movies.
Yes, I never watched Dileep's movie in theatre after he was involved in the heinous crime . I cannot enjoy the movie of a person who gave quotation to rape woman.
But I won't boycott a movie just because the actor is involved in some petty controversy, because what they do in personal life without the intention of harming others is not my concern . If the movie is good, I will spend money to buy tickets ,if not ,no matter whether it is DP or SRK I won't waste money.
This was prior to cancel culture but Shiney Anuja, it probably helps that he literally has no movies but I did avoid Welcome Back
Not related to cancel culture but there are movies of certain actors that I make a conscious effort to avoid because time is money. You can ignore problematic traits to a degree, but what do you do about poor acting? Ananya, Tiger, Sonakshi, Arjun etc are people I’ve never and will never pay to watch (ironically each and every one is a nepo product)
We are all spineless just like Bollywood to boycott anything. We can never take a stand for anything.
Idk if boycott's the right word but I've been put off. There was alot of speculation about many things that go on in the industry, a lot of suspicions have been confirmed.
The Bollywood I know and love was till the early 2000s when the industry wasn't about money or nepotism, but talent.
i can't separate art from the artist..
i don't watch works of Woody Allen, Roman Polanski, Kevin Spacey etc
i don't stream The Smiths music...

i didn't know nestle owned part of L'Oréal
Nestlé also owns a 30% stake in L'Oreal, which owns the Body Shop, Maybelinne, Garnier, Vichy, Olay, and perfumes produced for Ralph Lauren, YvesSaintLaurent, Giorgio Armani, Diesel, Lacoste, and Hugo Boss
Jahnvi and Ananya. Dislike them both. So I haven't watched any of their movies and don't plan on watching either.
Also, Dileep . I used to love his movies when I was a kid but ever since he was involved in the attempted rape of an actress, I stopped watching his movies altogether. His hype has gone like waaay low and was kinda banished from the industry although he still holds some kinda power amongst the actors.
