No, that's what - I have no problems with the tracks taking time and the MU continuing. Neither do I want to see Pree go all guns blazing. When Ru blasted her all last week, her being silent and trying to figure out what's going on made sense.
But now, she is already at rock bottom. She lost the one person she had just started to trust, the one person she thought would fight the world for her. If that wasn't enough, that same person just went behind her back and destroyed her entire career, the one she had worked so hard for. On top of that, she is being treated like dirt day in and day out by everyone in the family, other than Sharda. The character has been through so much but her reactions aren't making sense - I don't see the turmoil, the anguish, the betrayal that the character is supposed to feel. She is sulking and taking everything that everyone's throwing at her and the viewer in me is not able to understand why. Wasn’t it turmoil and anguish after the rain scene when she broken down with her mom or in hospital or when she saw Rudra walk away and leave her or when he misbehaved with her or when now she thinks he doesn’t want anything to do with her, yes she is not displaying betrayal acutely for prolonged period but that is because she is getting things thrown at her so much back to back that she doesn’t have time for emotions and reactions to catch up to what she is getting thrown at. Before she can react to betrayal she is dealing with also with loss of her career, loss of best friend, havoc in her family, Rudra broken, life at risk, where does she have the time to absorb these shocks and react to each one.
At the end of the day, if the writers aren't able to make the viewers connect with at least their lead characters, then they have failed at creating impact.
