And I'm not liking that she's just assuming his tablets are for hypertension.

It's not like they are still behaving like strangers. They are talking to each other. She can atleast casually ask what his meds are for.

I am not sure how to explain it, but in a way I get it. She knows she has been gone for 5 years, not 1/2 years. I think that now that her initial anger has passed, she can understand that he forced himself to move on for whatever reason. She now knows that even his life was destroyed and he has not been living well for the past 5 years. She also doesn't want to get her hopes up by probing too much into his personal life with Avni. And she is also trying to be fair to Avni and her child, who are now dependent on him. I think her actions make some sense - why investigate unless she wants to come back into his life? Even Kalyani knows now that it is unfair for her to come back 5 years later and saunter back into his life as if nothing happened.

These medicians are confusing to me. Are they helping him or hurting him? It is unclear - I know it will be a plot point later on, that's why I feel like Kalyani has to not suspect them for the time being.

I do agree with your points.

I too don't blame Kalyani. Agree with you that she deep down understands she cannot get back into his life because Avni and her child are there.

Kalyani doesn't know Avni is not his wife. So I also agree with you that she doesn't want to get hopes high.

Her taking charge and getting the injured Malhar admitted into the hospital is not wrong on any grounds. It was humanitarian.

But this not wanting interfere in his and Avni's life is where actually Kalyani's words and actions are contradictory.

On one hand, she is repeatedly reassuring Avni that she doesn't want to snatch him from Avni. They are only searching together for Moksh.

On the other hand, she's Barging into their house to take care of Malhar's health. Staying by his bedside the whole night. Asking Avni to step aside for that. Setting that password on his laptop.

These were actions which would make Avni more insecure. Which wife would want her husband's ex to stay by his bedside taking care of him.

That definitely looks like taking a lot of liberty.

I get it the CVs are trying to completely transform Avni into a negative. But in the process they are not keeping Kalyani consistent.

What I actually meant in my other post is just that Malhar's public confession of love should have made her think that he's not a type to confess love to another while being married to someone else. Generally to Kalyani It would been a clue that maybe there is something fishy about his marriage to Avni.

But yeah right now her focus is only on Moksh so she's not able to process her thoughts in that angle.

About the medicines too, as you say it may be a separate track altogether and hence the focus on it is lesser.
