Did you enjoy Veere di wedding(2018)?

This movie is one of my guilty pleasures😆

I like the movie's premise pertaining to portrayal of women in present-day scenario. I didn't like the excesses shown in the name of empowerment but it goes with the package, I guess. And it's a welcome change from movies which show bromances!

I think there were some moments which stood out like Sonam's expression when she is asked if she is from Khalsa college😆

Overall, an entertaining film which fulfills the cliches expected of a "chick flick". Nothing ground-breaking, not nuanced and certainly not a great film, but a film with loads of fun element, catchy songs, good-looking people in exotic locations and decent acting by all - Sonam was bearable too!

It was such a blah movie

The movie was dumb.

I looked forward to the film, was disappointed to another level. I feel like the plot wasn't developed enough and like I might sound really old school but yes I don't feel only freedom to drink, dance and strip (applies for all 3 genders) make people cool and empowered.

Yes! Surprisingly, I enjoyed Swara's and the other girl's performances in the movie. Kareena seemed too dull and Sonam toh was 🤢 The songs and visuals of the movie were too good!

No, I hope the people of Delhi are not like this.

Especially Swara's character and her way of enunciation. Talk about down-market and that atrocious dialogue about a guy being under the poverty line.

Probably the only thing that slightly tickled me was Sonam with that dude, Bhandari. Naam hi kaafi hai.

B- the friendship between the girls looked so fake. All I did was reminded myself of the gems like dil chahta hai, zindagi na milegi dobara. Look I didn't mean to compare or go like boys vrs girls and all stuff. But this thought came in my mind that boys didn't need to over do it, they were so casual yet so natural. Here the girls tried a lot but still looked so fake, not once did the girls give the feelings of childhood friends.

C- As one of the members here pointed out, swara and the other girl did better than the kapoor girls but they were given less footage.
