I find it strange that Bollywood has filed a case against the Media for their abusive language and targeting the industry?

Whereas all these years Bollywood has minted money by making movies exploiting Women, mocking the country, ridiculing the judicial and political system, hurting the religious sentiments of almost all communities. Glorifying eve-teasing and the list can go and on.

They didn't have any scruples or any problem Making UDTA PUNJAB, but they do have a problem being called out when the Media named them? If Udta Punjab is a mirror to our society, aren't they too a part of the same society? So why these double standards? The fact is they don't like being held accountable.

Anyways at this point, it's the best to wait for the Law to take its the course.

I disagree. News media can be sued when they are giving out false info on any particular community or an individual to incite hatred.

I urge you to an recent case on an media channel. It aired a programme on the increase of Muslim candidates in the IPC cadre and invited that they are trying to spread taliban style in police department. Someone filed a lawsuit. The SC ordered them to not to air the programme and had to pay a hefty fine.
