Why did mission mangal ruffle bjp's feathers? I thought it was a pro establishment movie.. I felt Akki was hated for opportunism and double standards... I am seeing calls for boycott of this movie.. While the bad trailer is a reason for boycott, but people are hating the movie for some other reason... Can anyone throw some light on the connections and interests of the boycotters?

Firstly Mission Mangal was not pro establishment. Nowadays any praise for country is somehow seen as pro establishment or jingoism, which is frankly ridiculous.

And Mission Mangal didn't rattle BJP, BJP doesn't include every right wing or Hindutva or idiot in the social media. There is a section of people in social.media who are pissed for the portrayal of Hindus in the movie Mission Mangal, plus a character literally converts from Hindu to Muslim, which miffed many lunatics in social media.

Also the biggest driving force towards its boycott is why Akki didn't tweeted in support of CBI investigation for Sushant's case, and many fan groups under the guise of being SSR fans have been spreading negativity against Akki for this reason, especially Ajay and Sallu fans.

This trailer is reminding me d epic film bhool bhulaiyaa . Ami Manjolika😆 akshay kumar getup reminded me of Vidya Balan getup😆.
