Chapter - 14

Ridhima and Yug break the hug and sit silently near the pool. There is so much of silence between them which is being unbearable for both of them. Yug started to break the ice first and he wants to know why Ridhima married Vansh

Yug: Why did you marry Vansh?

Ridhima: To take revenge?

Both Vansha and Yug are shocked to listen to this. Aryan and Ishani are ready to start badmouthing Ridhima, but they heard the same question once again

Yug: You want to take revenge from Vansh? Why?

Ridhima: Who said I want to take revenge? I said he married me because he wants to take revenge on me?

Yug: Didn't you just said you married him because you want to take revenge on him.

Ridhima: Duffer! You have asked the wrong question to the wrong person.

Yug: Means?

Ridhima: I have hurt Vansh's ego with my words. Then he came up with a marriage proposal. I rejected him. He said he will hurt Sejal. So, I said yes.

Dadi is angry to know the revelation. She goes near Vansh and questions him

Dadi: Is it true? Did you threaten her?

Vansh: Yes

Dadi: Why?

Do you love her Vansh? Which is why you threatened her?

Vansh: I want to know about her. So, I married her?

Dadi: What kind of answer is this? You want to know her, therefore, you married her? Every girl will have so many dreams about the wedding and you just ruined everything for her?

Vansh: I can give her a grand wedding too.

Dadi who is baffled with his reply, leave from the place saying - I don't know what is wrong with my kids. One threatens someone to marry and others get pregnant before marriage. Aryan you, tries to cause trouble every time.

Anupriya goes to the room by leaving Dadi in her room and calls Kabir.

Anupriya: Kabir, Yug Rane the MD of Rajvansh empire was a friend of Ridhima

Kabir: Was a friend?

Anupriya: Yes, I told you Ridhima being a doctor. So in one of those operations, due to a mistake, Ridhima has killed Yug's sister Ayana. Technically, she didn't do it. It's Yug's girlfriend. But Yug blames Ridhima for not revealing his girlfriend true face before him. Looks like, Ridhima has a big background which we are not aware of. Do you think we need to go ahead and play this game by using her?

Kabir: Maa, don't react to anything. Keep tabs on everything happening around her. So, we can take action accordingly. So, for now, we know Ridhima was also a part of a murder mystery. Very good. It will help us in the future.

Anupriya: Okay. But her background...

Kabir: Don't worry about it at all. If she has hidden so many things from me then that says this girl don't trust me fully. She is in love with me and she married Vansh because of me, yet, she hid so many things. Now this feels fishy. She is not same Ridhima whom I know. I will work again on her. You be careful Maa.

Anupriya: Okay, Kabir. Take care.

Anupriya cuts the call and reaches hall to see what's happening but she gets to know Vansh has pulled off the drive and went to his room.

Vansh reaches his room and closes each and single door and window of his room and start connecting the drive to the TV to know what Ridhima is doing. He is angry because he told her, not to reveal to this anyone. Yet, she shared with Yug Rane. He also wants the same trust from her.

Vansh: Why she is becoming a puzzle day by day? I know since day one she is something which she's not. I'm walking towards her. Why she has so many stories inside her and so much of pain. Why the hell she can't share it with me. Why? Why?

Vansh connects the drive to the TV and starts watching where it was left and he is enraged to see Ridhima and Yug are still near the poolside.

Yug: Then, leave him.

Ridhima: I don't know why I can't leave him. Yes, initially, I tried. However, now I feel we both are same.

Yug: Same? How?

Ridhima: We both are abandoned. We are always worried about being abandoned again. We are scared and which is why he never trusts people and me over trust people.

This reply of her hits Vansh straight into his heart. He is right yesterday. Ridhima successfully completing every stage of decoding Vansh Rai Singhania. He doesn't know whether he has given her the right to do it or she is made in that way. How come she understands him so well when he himself doesn't know what kind of person he is!

Yug: You are living in the past. Just like me.

Ridhima: Yes. I agree. I always tell myself, from now on, don't dwell on the past. Don't sacrifice the present for the future. Be present in every moment and every second.

However, I don't follow the lines which I tell myself.

Yug: Ridhima, fear comes from the distrust of yourself and the anxiety from the unknown. If you don't want fear to overcome you, you must trust yourself. Trust yourself and focus on the target.

Yes, I live in the past too. However, you live with the nightmares and I'm living with the betrayal done by you and Maya. The way you' are living is equal to living in hell.

I know you Ridhima. You are the person who tolerates what you cannot tolerate. And gets exhausts by the things that you cannot handle. You spend some nights with teary eyes. And I can dare to say that I know what you dreamed and what you want to achieve.

Ridhima smiles at Yug and hugs him. This hug and the smile doesn't go well with Vansh who is watching all this. This friendship is pricking his heart and the conversation is giving him so much of pain. It is making him realize the pain Ridhima might have went through while growing and he still doesn't know with what kind of nightmares Ridhima is living with. He wants to know her, but, she is the most difficult puzzle he has ever seen.

Yug hugs her back and says - your past is exhausting enough. Why do you have to let your past burden you? Past is past. This is the life we're living now.

Now tell me, are you willing to leave Vansh and start a new life?

Ridhima: I don't abandon people. I don't accept people if I were to abandon them. It's because you know, I had been abandoned before, too.

This answer to her startled both Yug and Vansh. What does that mean?

Vansh: She won't leave me? I mean after giving her so much pain, she is willing to live with me? What should I make of it? Will, she even remembers what she said in a drunken state?

Ridhima tries to get up and turns back to go to her room. But, Yug stops her and says explain

Ridhima: Explain what?

Yug: (Exhales air) Do you love Vansh Rai Singhania?

Precap: Ridhima and her nightmares
