I actually feel all that in those scenes. Vansh is very particular about trust thing, and I think he is making sure that his wife would never betray him not even for the person because of whom she get married to him and sacrificed her life.

He must have understood that the person who is behind all this holds a special place in Riddhu's life if she did this much for him. That's why the sudden change in behavior.

If she falls for someone then I don't think she will think twice to even kill someone. So Vansh brought out his softer side in front of riddhu, so that she could love him and trust him.

I know everyone thinks that Vansh can't blame riddhu as she wants to tell the truth to Vansh, but if you see the scene again you could see that she was scared. She was hesitating and that's why Vansh stopped her. He will listen to her the day she will trust him completely and tell him every single thing without even thinking twice.

This type of trust is what Vansh wants from Riddhima. And that's why all this soft Vansh, because even Vansh knows that Riddhu would never fall for a criminal, but she would fall for her husband. She would fall for the things that she has always wanted. In short he became her dream man.

Bachi has always craved for love ...that why and how she was manipulated by K...but now She is getting to know the softer side of Vansh, his caring and protectiveness nature and these unknown qualities of Vansh have paved its way to bachi's heart....now She ll realise her true love for him during this poison track and her ishq ll become her junoon and her possessiveness ll know no boundry
