Riddhima sounded really happy when she was talking with Sejal,her best friend. Vansh noticed her smile,which made his heart flutter like a butterfly.
"Time pe medicines liyo and kal aajana tu apne check up keliye,thik hai??? Chal,bye!!" Riddhima replied and hung the phone.
She turned around to observe that Vansh was smiling while he buttoned his sleeves. Riddhima smiled as well. She went near him and hugged him from the back.
"Kya baat hai,Mrs. Raisinghania??? Aaj toh bohut khush lagrahi ho?? Baat kya hai???" Vansh asked,bringing her in front.
She wrapped her arms around his neck and said, "Khush hona banta hai mera!!! Sejal ki delivery ab kisi bhi waqt hosakti hai.. Kal uska aakhri checkup hai... I hope sab thik se ho.."
Vansh cupped her face lovingly and assured her that everything will be alright. Riddhima nodded happily and hugged Vansh tightly.
"Waise,aap bataiye!!! Aap bhi bohut khush lagrahe hai!!! Bataiye bataiye!!" Riddhima asked,noticing his smile.
"Hai kuch,Wifey!!! Cant tell you now!!! Abhi keliye lets go and have some coffee,woh bhi tumhari Hazelnut Latte..Chaloooo!!" Vansh dragged her along,while she prayed for his happiness to remain safe and intact.

Next day: Hospital.
"Sejal,abhi se tu apna zyada khayal rakh.. Kal tera nine months complete honge... Thore bohut contractions honge,do keep a track on it.. Kitni der tak hoti hai,intensity kitna hai,kitni baar hoti hai,etc etc.. Aur haan,sab reports normal hai,so expect a normal delivery,alright!!" Riddhima explained everything.
"Thanks yaar!!! Tune meri saari tension dur kardi... Ab chalti hu.. Jaate waqt cabin book karti huyi jaungi.. Bye!!!" Sejal bid her goodbye and left.
Riddhima was really happy for her best friend. She prayed to Bhagwan to keep Sejal and her unborn baby safe and sound. She fished out her phone from the drawer and saw Vansh's smiling picture,which gave her strength.
She grazed her fingers over it lightly and kept it over her heart.
"Thank you mujhe apna maanne keliye,Vansh.. I love you,my love.."

Riddhima came home after a tiring day of work in the hospital. She looked really pale and tired. She didnt have the energy to walk till their room. She sat down to give company to Sia and Daadi..
"Riddhima beta!! Teri tabiyat toh thik hai na,beta??? Itni thaki huyi lagrahi hai tu!!" Daadi asked,with concern,as she patted her head.
By then,Sia brings water for Riddhima. She drinks it in one gulp and lays her head on Daadi's lap. She lovingly grazed her head.
"Main bhai ko call karti hu,Bhabhi!!" Sia takes her phone to call Vansh when Riddhima in her tired voice,asked not to disturb Vansh,as he will be busy in a meeting.
After a while,Riddhima gets up slowly and takes leave from Daadi and Sia,and walked towards their room.
She walked slowly,taking the support of the walls and staircase rails. Her head was spinning badly and she took a moment to take some rest. She felt out of breath as she huffed and couldn't take a step further.
"Vanshhh!!! Ka..haaa h..oo..aa..pp???" Riddhima barely spoke in a minimal voice.
Just then,Vansh came home and asked about Riddhima. Daadi and Sia informed about Riddhima's health as how she looked pale and tired,as she went towards their room. He immediately ran towards her and just then,he saw her standing,holding the table as a support. Just by looking at her,he could gauge that how sick she must be feeling.
"Riddhimaaaa!!" He shouted her name.
Riddhima turned around to see her life standing right there... Her tired lips curled into a faint smile and raised both her hands,asking him to take her in his protective embrace.
Vansh ran towards her quickly. Riddhima put a step forward and that's when,she felt her steps falter. Her vision was becoming blank as darkness engulfed her already exhausted self. Vansh reached to her at the nick of the moment and caught her falling figure,on the right time.
"Riddhu!!! Main hu,tumhara Vansh!!! Aakhein kholo apni!!! Riddhimaa!!" Vansh constantly tapped her pale cheeks to wake her up.
Vansh called for Aangre and asked him to bring a doctor,as soon as possible. Meanwhile,Daadi and Sia also reached the corridor leading to Vansh's room. They were. shocked seeing Riddhima in that state..
"Bhaai!!! Jaldi Bhabhi ko kamre mein le chaliye.." Sia reminded him..
Vansh immediately carried her in his arms and came inside his room.. He gently placed her on the bed,while Daadi started to rub Riddhima's hands',while Vansh and Sia were rubbing her feet.
Aangre came inside with a lady doctor.. She instructed Daadi to stay inside and rqeusted Vansh and Sia to leave the room.
"I wont go!! Riddhima ke paas main rehta hu!!" Vansh insisted.
"Vansh beta!!! Doctor ko apna kaam karne de.. Agar kuch laga,toh main tujhe bula lungi!!" Daadi explained.
"Daadi sahi bolrahi hai,Bhai.. Chaliye,bahar wait karte hai!!" Sia replied while Aangre dragged him out.
Waiting seemed to be like an exam for Vansh. He just wanted to stay beside his Riddhima. He was becoming dead concerned for her. Sia forcefully made him sit and gave him a glass of water to drink. He finished it in one gulp.. He was praying for the time to pass and was waiting for the doctor to come outside.
Finally,the doctor came outside,along with Daadi,who had a smile on their faces'. Vansh,Aangre and Sia were dead confused..
"Doctor,meri biwi kaisi hai??? Uski tabiyat achanak se itni kharab kaise hogayi??? Hua kya hai usse???" Vansh hurled questions at her.
Daadi had tears of happiness in her eyes... She went near Vansh and took him in a warm yet loving hug.
"Daadi,aap ro kyun rahi hai??? Riddhima ko kya hua hai??? Bataiye please!!" Vansh asked his Daadi once again..
"Tu baap banne wala hai,Vansh... Aur,Riddhima Maa banne wali hai..." Daadi broke the news to everyone.
Vansh couldn't believe for a moment what his Daadi just said. It took him a few minutes to realize what she just said. Vansh closed his eyes' and let the tears of happiness fall from his eyes..
Sia and Aangre were too happy for Vansh and Riddhima.. Only they knew the importance of this happiness in everybody's life. They took turns and hugged him and also congratulated him.
"Mr. Raisinghania, abhi se aapko Dr. Riddhima ka zyada khayal rakhna parega.. Although,woh khud hi ek gynaecologist hai aur saari baatein jaanti bhi hai,par phir bhi main chahti hu ki aap aur puri family Riddhima ka khayal rakkhein.. Just go with the flow and be patient and normal with her.. Issi dauran khaane ki cravings aur mood swings bar jaati hai,so make sure aap sab isse normally tackle kare,so that she remains stress free and happy all throughout the pregnancy period. Thik hai??? And once again,Congratulations." The doctor explained everything and left,not before wishing him once again.
Daadi took Vansh in her motherly hug and consoled him... She also assured him that everything will be alright and perfect.
"Daadi sahi kehrahi hai,Bhai!!! Aap sirf aur sirf Bhabhi ka khayal rakkhiye aur khud ka bhi.. Aaj se aapka ek naya safar shuru hoga.. You need to be patient with her.. Aur,hum sab toh hai na aapko help karne keliye.." Aangre replied..
Vansh went inside his room,where he saw his wife,who was looking for him with teary eyes... He took long strides and sat beside Riddhima,who submitted herself in his loving and protective embrace.
Vansh hugged her softly,so as not to hurt her. They were very well aware of the ride of emotions they are going through. They didnt talk for a long time,just felt the newly evolved feeling..
Daadi and Sia went away as she instructed Aangre to make arrangements for a Puja.. While Daadi and Sia discussed about Riddhima's food and diet.
Vansh broke the hug and looked at Riddhima who was blushing.. He cupped her face and placed his warm lips on her cold ones,pouring out all his love and care. She smiled in between the kiss and rubbed Vansh's back,ever so softly.
He went down on his knees and placed a sloppy,wet kiss on her belly where their symbol of love is growing. Riddhima smiled and grazed his hair and pulled him up..
"Aap khush hai, Papa Vansh?" She asked with love.
"Log kehte hai ki ek aadmi hi auraat ko pura karta hai,par aaj tumne mujhe pura kardia,Riddhima.. Tumne mujhe baap banne ki khushi di hai.. Aaj se main waada karta hu ki main tumhe aur humare aane wale bacche ka khayal rakhunga aur suraksha bhi karunga.. " Vansh promised his wife.
"Tell me something i dont know,meri jaan!!" Riddhima had a good laugh and placed her lips on his,deepening it further..
"Sapna jahan dastak na de,
Chaukhat thi woh aankhein meri,
Baaton se thi tadaad mein,
Khamoshiyan zyaada meri,
Jabse pade tere kadam,
