Happy Birthday Dear Haider
Happy Birthday to You.
From good friends and true,
From old friends and new,
May good luck go with you,
And happiness too.
Haider Got released on 2nd October, so technically Haider's birthday was two days ago.
Till date this has to be the best performance of Shahid, he was so intense in it that for a while I couldn't differentiate whether he was really acting or bursting out all for real. Such a powerful performance by him!❤️ Tabu was also excellent.
Didn't really like it back when I first saw it. But I was watching it recently and while I still don't like it, Shahid was absolutely brilliant in it.
Tabu was brilliant so were Shahid & Kay Kay
Shahid, Tanu and Kay Kay Menon❤️
The cinematography ❤️
The music🔥
One of my favourite movies ever and one of the best movies to come out of Bollywood. Hard hitting and relevant, even today.
Shahid. What can I say about his performance I havent said before... Haider Meer lives on in my memory. Supreme. The pinnacle of acting brilliance. Nothing he would ever do in the future can match with this.. I'd be shocked if it did.
Tabu's Ghazala, Kay Kay's Khurram and ofcourse the magic of Irrfan's Roohdar - Haider was a masterclass in acting and intensity.
I love this movie so so so much. The way they handled the politics of the place and also the Oedipus complex of Haider-Ghazala's relationship. What a movie, man.
The cinematography, the music, the beauty of Srinagar - everything was perfect.
Mm this topic would have had more replies if you had pitted it against Hrithik or something.. ;) 😆

No need to drag Hrithik in every topic, it's alright even if this topic doesn't get much replies. Haider itself is a package and a masterpiece by Vishal Bhardwaj, Vishal is simply the best in terms of making Shaekspeare's Bollywood adaptations. Haider is not any masala movie but a movie worth watching for thousand times. Not everyone will be able to get the depth of this film and the message that it carries.
Unfortunately, Haider would land into various controversies if it were to release today.🤔
In today's political climate, so many "conservatives" and "nationalists" would have been calling this "Hindo-phobic", or "pro-terrorism" and pata nahi kya kya.
I mean if shows like Delhi Crime or films like The Sky is Pink can be labelled as "Hindu-phobic" by certain people,
then it is quite obvious that those people are perfectly capable of totally missing the point of a dramedy film like Haider.
Though, it mostly happens due to bizarre narratives driven by certain IT cells but a large section of Indian audience end up believing and following those narratives.
Sad, but true.

Ki Ka was a film directed by R. Balki—and it remains one of my favourite films of 2016. I loved it because it dared to flip something we rarely...
