Even Sasaural Genda Phool was a remake of a Bengali show I think. SGP was a good show and didn’t get ruined and jodis never separated. Oh good old days 😆

EAN first season was cute 😍😍😍 sp can think to remake it. Cute love story. But second season no comments 🤐🤐

SP needs to bring progressive and fresh concept shows like Sony, example, Patiala Babes S1 (don’t even get me started on the disaster season 2 was 🙄), KRPKAB, EDKV, YUDKBH, even BALH until leap etc etc.

One thing is good in bengali tv industry though dey make regressive content but when dey make some path breaking show dat show do gets good trp like goyenda ginni, Rani Rashmoni, Netaji, kadambini, Gopal bhar.

@BOLD Yeah right and also another thing to keep in mind. These days female leads are more career oriented and headstrong except Joba (A big cartoon 🤣). Not damshel in distress thats also a plus point. Hopefully bengali tv industry will see the light and not darkness like hindi tv industry.

Italics-Seeing Sp's current shows seems unlikely. Sp had some really nice and unique shows during 2016.

Oita toh ekta biopic but story gulo dekha akhon ishwar chandra vidyasaagar er golpo start korbe.

Kadambini SJ one is better zee one is already going off air. Dat one was rubbish

Some Pakistani series are also very good—

Yakeen ka safar - very emotional, progressive and beautiful couple

Udaari- it deals with child rape and domestic violence... And it’s aaamazing... so sensitively handled... plus it has a beautiful love story and some amazing folk songs...

kankar— again domestic violence... and the heroine doesn’t go back to the handsome and dashing male lead...

malaal ( very old drama) but very beautiful younger man- older woman love story ... infact the director of this show is mehreen jabber.. all her shows are amazing
