Wrote this chapter while the wedding track was going on. Will be updating soon-ish for now because there are few chapters completed already. Also, my Pranbir fandom homies need to cheer up❤️----
Chapter- 2
Ranbir looked at Pragya. She was hurt. He was the reason. He felt heartbroken seeing her like this. Pragya was everything to Prachi. And Prachi was his. He couldn't see Pragya in such state. He attempted to stop Shahana only for the sake of Pragya but she raised her hand to resist him.
"Don't. I really don't care whats the matter & all. I am tired of asking why are you doing this but you never answered. So I am not asking that anymore. But I can't keep calm watching everything get ruined", Shahana said.
"Oh shut up. Nothing was gonna be ruined. My Rhea is perfect match for Ranbir. They are getting married. Nothing or no one can come in between them. You stay out of it if you're concerned about your well being.", Aliya threatened & threw the envelope away.
"Its about my sister's life. I have full right to interfere. And I will keep interfering whenever this will be about people I care about", Shahana stated taking glance from Ranbir.
Aliya rolled her eyes. She was running out of patience now. She needed to do something to stop this girl. Why couldn't this girl be more like Prachi? Who couldn't even stand in front her rightfully.
Rhea looked at the envelope which was lying on the floor, the contents of it were spread outside discreetly. She picked them up.
There was marriage certificate, few photos & a nuptial chain. It was what she was fearing all along. It was wedding photographs of Ranbir. The girl beside him was none other than her twin sister, Prachi Arora. Suddenly all she saw was red. She was burning with anger. She wanted to break everything, ruin each and everything around. But first thing first she was going to make Prachi's life a living hell. She would never ever let her be Ranbir's wife in true sense.
She shouted & tore the papers in a go, throwing the chain away. She dragged Ranbir toward the mandap. He resisted.
"Why did you stop?", she asked panicking.
"I can't marry you Rhea. Not Anymore. I am sorry. I love Prachi. I told you numerous times before but you just don't get it", he stated.
Rhea jolted from her thoughts when she realised it was all her imaginations. Ranbir was still standing there & the papers were intact in her hands.
Pragya let the tears stream past her cheeks as she saw the photographs. She wasn't sure what she was feeling actually. She felt relieved that it was Ranbir who Prachi married. She felt sad because her daughter took such big decision of her life without consulting with her. But most of all, she couldn't decide how to react. Her younger daughter was heartbroken shattered in wedding venue. She needed to comfort her but she knew she couldn't.
Aliya went to hug Rhea before Pragya could step in. But to her surprise, Rhea ran to Pragya & hugged her tightly. Pragya freezed for a moment but then hugged her daughter. It was the first time ever Rhea hugged her since she knew about Pragya being her mother. She could never be happier.
"Maa", Rhea whispered.
Pragya hugged her tighter, even possible.
"I am so..", Ranbir was stopped in mid sentence as Pragya raised her hand.
Aliya was devastated. Rhea finding comfort in Pragya while she was still there was the ugliest nightmare of her. What was lacking in her love? Why couldn't anyone ever value it? She wanted to run away from there but she had better things to handle right then. She needed to get Rhea married to Ranbir.
Pragya made Rhea sit on the chair & asked the waiter to bring water to drink. Rhea couldn't stop crying. Pragya wiped away her tears.
Shahana wasn't yet relieved because Ms. Aliya was still there & she paid no attention to the fact that Ranbir was married. She was silent till now because Rhea was crying. But after that she might order the priest to continue with wedding rituals. And Ranbir might oblige too. She needed to do something in instant.
"I don't believe in such marriage. No family members no witnesses at all? Marriage aren't any joke", Aliya finally spoke up.
"Thats what I thought", Shahana grinned.
She turned to Ranbir.
"Ranbir, do you consider Aryaan as your family?", Shahana asked.
"Of course I do. He is my everything", Ranbir replied instantly.
"And I am Prachi's family. Aryaan & I were present at Pranbir wedding", Shahana stated victoriously.
"Pranbir?", Aliya asked confused.
"Prachi+Ranbir = Pranbir", Shahana giggled happily.
Aliya rolled her eyes. Ranbir felt like smiling. It was the name he used to say for him & Prachi. He always felt they were one, they should be one. Thats how he thought of this combined name.
"Aryaan isn't here thats why you're using his name. So clever. You thought we'll fall for such silly tricks! But no! If you are not going out of this place now, I'll throw you out myself", Aliya barked.
Rhea looked at Aliya.
Pragya stood up & went to Ranbir. She dragged him to the rest room & closed the door so no one could hear them.
"Ranbir I have always considered you as my son, my family. My God knows how much I wanted you to become my Prachi's husband. But things got complicated & I had to let the fate decide for our lives. Now I am gonna ask you a question straight hoping to get only truth as answer. No more lies, no more secrets. May I?", Pragya asked.
Ranbir nodded yes.
"Did you & Prachi get married secretly?", Pragya asked wiping off her tears.
"Before I answer your question I want to say something. Because the truth might change everything afterward", he stated.
"Go on", Pragya permitted.
"I love your daughter so much, aunty. May be more than my life. I can never ever think of hurting her. My true happiness lies within Prachi's smile. Whenever she is with me, I feel like there's nothing can go wrong ever", he stopped.
"But there are many more relations in life for which we need to rethink about our own happiness. I. . .", he sighed.
Pragya kept silence.
Shahana burged into the room panicking.
"Maasi, please lets go, Prachi is in critical condition. The hospital called", Shahana said crying.
Ranbir's world collapsed. He couldn't hear afterwards. His mind got blank all of a sudden. Few moments passed & he just asked Shahana for the hospital name & ran to his car instantly.

Today is double update day. Because I am highly disappointed with the ongoing week's episodes. So next chapter will be posted today..
