This Movie was setback for him that it took nearly 9 years to overcome. It was in the making long time. It was his film to make him no.1 and then goto Hollywood. Then Kangnana was in it 😆

Personally, a certain person never should have been hired and then re-hired.

Film wise he did ZMND, Agneepath and Krrish 3 right after this movie - he was fine.

The brain blood clot he got in BB (which never should have happened if Siddarth was a more experienced action director) which pushed back schedules and contributed to him losing a couple of films and doing Mojendaro instead because Ashutosh Gowariker unlike others was loyal - was a far bigger career stumbling block.

To answer the first question - on screen chemistry with Mori was great. Songs were wonderful. Hrithik looked beyond gorgeous even in a sombrero. 😎 Film ending was a complete bummer.

Nope. Just because both of them are good looking that doesn't mean they had chemistry.

The movie did not have a good love story either. It was just a bunch of kissing scenes.

Then Salman overcame. People even said Biru was better.

He lost a bunch of ground 2014-2018 due to issues. im saying goin back farther this was a big hiccup as Kites was suppose to be a Huge Film to break into Hollywood even

Their chemistry was super.. one of HR’s best but those god awful blinds and rumors surely made things a bit uncomfortable for them.. all because Barbara being an extrovert/relatively open and kinda alien to the whole abla nari shenanigans that BW actresses usually pull off and HR being a bit more accommodating than usual being the lead and the producer/host.. had some very sex-starved journos and BW gossipy aunties running with their wildest imaginations. The movie not performing at the BO added to the negativity.

I never watched this movie cuz the trailer didn't spark any interest. When it didn't do well, I didn't see any reason to bother.
